Lilly is 2!!!

I wanted to post some pictures for Lilly's 2nd birthday. When I went to look for pictures to put on this blog I searched through 13 folders of pictures just of Lilly! So I decided to put only three pictures and they are............

I can't believe my little girl is 2. The last 2 years have flown by. Lilly has her own spunky personality and is such a tease. She loves to have Mom and Dad read to her more than anything else. She can pretty much communicate anything, she is talking so well. Our favorite thing she says in Ephalant (elephant). She is a great big sister and a bright spot in our lives. Happy Birthday Lilly Lou!

With the arrival of Jane we decided that Lilly need to sleep in her bed. We have had it for a month or two. She took a few naps in the bed, but at night she always wanted to sleep in her crib. So we took the crib down so the didn't have an option. She has done really well. I found her in this position the first night she slept in the bed.

Introducing....JANE

On April 6, 2009 at 3:09 PM weighing 5 lbs 15 oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches Jane Burton entered this world with a lung full of air! She is health and strong and we couldn't be more happy.
It took Lilly a few minutes to figure out what was going on. She welcomed her new baby sister by pushing her nose and saying Honk! We are going to have to keep our eyes on her. She would pull Jane's hat off and say "Hair, ears," then she wanted to see her "toes, hands". She is always saying "hold her" or "my turn, baby siter" She is so cute with Jane.
