| Joel and I had a great time in KC together. We experienced as much as we could in a short amount of time... for us that means food, food and more food. My favorite BBQ was Gate's, their yammer pie was seriously the best ever! I flew home and the woman in security in front of me had one and I was so bummed I didn't think of doing the same. |
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art was another major highlight. You totally feel that Art is a big player in this city... the fountains, murals, buildings etc blew me away and begged me to question why? Really WHY? is KC so arty and cool? Anyone know? Mom? Why?

| Joel won the jackpot of a machine that happened to malfunction at the same time so he ended up with over 2400 tickets, thankfully he shared the love with the kiddos. |
