SEAWIND
After 29 years since their last new release (which was on vinyl & cassettes, by the way), Seawind, the legendary Pop-Jazz-Fusion band of the late 70's and early 80's, resurrects itself with a brand new CD release entitled Reunion! This CD is by far, the best thing that Seawind has ever recorded. It contains seven brand new songs that are unmistakably "classic Seawind" and five re-make, 2009-updates of some of their biggest hits. The five re-make songs include "He Loves You", which also features the Grammy-winning, scat-singing voice of jazz icon, Al Jarreau, "Follow Your Road", "Free", the 1977 Grammy-nominated "Devil is a Liar" and "Everything Needs Love". It is very refreshing to once again, hear the incredible level of musicianship and fantastic song-writing of this amazing band. Like a vintage wine, Seawind, now in their senior years, has musically matured way beyond belief!
