So I LOVE this dress.

I have been drooling over it for weeks now.  But I don't have $86 extra dollars lying around to spend on dresses.  But I did have $17...

So I bought some look alike fabric and this pattern:

Dress A with modifications.  This should be a fun project.  We'll see how it goes.  Hopefully it won't crash and burn.

It was beautiful yesterday!  

We went OUTSIDE it was so beautiful.  And guess what.  The high this whole week is in the fifties!  That's amazing batman!

It is so good.  I loved it.  Now I'm on a Cary Grant kick.  An suggestions?  If anyone wants to come have an old movie night with me, I'm game. :)

I only have a blog so I can stalk you...

I don't actually want anybody to know what I am up to.  Or my family or whatever.

Just kidding.

Mostly I have been thinking a lot about friendships and relationships in general.  I love being able to hop on my computer and see what all my friends are up to! I really do, I love it.  I can know exactly what you are doing without having to even talk to you.  But you see, that sounds really odd, don't you think?  I'm totally stalking my own friends.  And that's weird.

So, while I don't intend to abandon my blog or facebook or my gmail account, I would like to be better about taking my friends out to lunch and talking with them about their lives.  Or calling someone on their birthday to say hello.  It's gonna be awesome.  So yeah, call me.  :)  I'd love to catch up!


 Some updates:

My recital is coming up soon!  Well, like a month.  I am so excited!  The program is going to be wonderful.  I will be singing music by Brahms, Massenet, Handel, Puccini, Schubert, Lori Laitman, Gounod, and Verdi!  The Laitman set is gorgeous!  It's translated Japanese poetry sung with cello accompaniment.  And my Verdi duet from his opera La Traviata is so beautiful!  Oh man, I can't wait!  It's going to be epic.  APRIL 11, 2012 AT 7:30 PM - BYU MADSEN RECITAL HALL HFAC.

I am taking French this semester, and I love it!  It's a hard language to learn.  I have taken a year of Italian and a year of German here at BYU, but my one semester of French is kicking my butt.  In a good way.  I LOVE the language.  It's beautiful!

I am also in a beginning ceramics class.  That has been a messy adventure.  Clay is messy.  Throwing on the wheel is not like the opening scene from Ghost.  At all.  It's hard.  And I'm not very good at it.  But is is really, really fun.  It's kind of therapeutic.

Mostly, I can't wait for Spring weather.  We have had a few warm days that only tease us before another snow week comes.  But, hopefully soon it will start to stay nice.

I need to take more pictures.  Especially of my baby.  Well, my TODDLER.  I can't believe he will be TWO years old next month!!!!  As soon as I do, I will put them up!  I haven't forgotten about you Grandmas out there!  ;)
