First Wiggly Tooth

Alli had a wiggly tooth forever.  It was extremely distracting to her so Kimball tried to pull it out with pliers, but she wouldn't open her mouth.

The next day we used floss.  Worked great!

She decorated an envelope to put it in and the tooth fairy left her four quarters.

Santa

This year is the first year my kids have sat on Santa's lap!  Joseph wouldn't tell him what he wanted and Alli said Frozen dolls.

First Snow and Sledding

Our budding astronomers

The Salt Lake Astronomical Society was doing a Sun Party so we decided to join them!

It was fun for the kids, but really Kimball and I thought it was even cooler. We were able to see a sunspot, several prominences, and meet some neat people. They took time to explain everything we were looking at, and what causes those phenomenons. We were surprised how much Alli remembered and could explain to people afterward.

Pretty neat experience!

 

Random Pictures

Thanks to my mom and dad's help I was able to can 28 jars of peaches.

Joseph and I playing basketball. I even made it through both baskets twice!

Dentist

The kids went to the dentist yesterday.  They did pretty good and passed with flying colors.

They looked so little in those big chairs.

1st Day

Alli started first grade on Monday.  This was a sad day for mommy.  It's hard having a child leave all day and not having control of their surroundings. 

Look how big, yet small, she is.

And this little boy sure misses her.  Mommy's just not as fun.

And even Stella got in on the action.

Happy Birthday Mom!

We didn't know what to get my mom for her birthday so we decided on taking her out to dinner, just us girls.  And since Jenny was in town, it was the perfect chance.  It was really fun to hang out together. The best was when they came out singing.  She was so embarrassed:-)

REAL Game

Kimball and I had an awesome date night with some friends tonight.  We went out to dinner and to the REAL soccer game!

And we were able to see an amazing sunset!

The only down side was that the children behind us accidentally knocked over their   red drink all over the ground in front of us where our jackets were and one accidentally kicked me really hard in the back. Nothing like getting away from my own kids and still having kids accidentally spill on my stuff and hurt me.

Alli turned 6 this week. Crazy. I can't believe she's that old.

 I saw a rainbow cake on line but didn't want to do so many layers so I just asked Alli to pick three colors.  It turned out really cute.
