Crawling

On January 28th, 2009 Bria reached an important milestone in her life. She crawled! That's right, she finally can get around on her own. She's been such a happy girl, sitting for long periods of time playing with toys or watching her brothers. Now she can attempt to keep up with them. She still keeps her right leg tucked up under her for quick access to sitting, and she still doesn't roll over from front to back or vise versa, but crawling is definitely progress!

Skiing

Spencer and I got to go cross country skiing today with the other kindergartners at his school.  We both loved it! Spencer said his favorite part was just the way we ski.  He loved using the poles to propel himself forward. It was a beautiful day for playing outside; partially cloudy and about 50 degrees out. We skied through lots of pines and aspens and had a great time with all those cute kids. After the first loop we ate lunch and hurried out again to get as much play time in as we could before loading the bus. Of course I forgot my camera, but other than that it was purely delightful!!!

Fun visit

Nana and Max came to visit today. It was so fun to see them!  Thank you guys for coming! They played with the boys and visited with Travis and I.  Megan sent Bria's Christmas present which Drew and Bria have both been getting a kick out of. =)  The boys got to show off their hot wheels tracks and the cool snow fort they built with Travis. Max got to catch some much needed z's and they both answered questions for the Christmas tag! We missed seeing Megan who traded coming with Max. Spencer figured she made the sacrifice because he gets to see her more when we are in Mesa and she was unselfish in letting Max come instead, so thanks Megan for taking turns! ; ) We love you all and love it when you come to visit!
