Offically Homeowners

Our New House is amazing! We got back form our trip and had 4 days to pack. We worked really hard for a few days and then found out that our house would not close on time, so we had a few extra days to get everything packed. It was a good thing because it took us about a week to pack everything up. It is amazing how much crap you can accumulate in only 4 years. We moved from a 1200 sq foot condo to a 1600 sq foot house and we have fill it quite easily. Our house finally closed on the 5th of Aug. and we moved in the next day. Our dear friends Mandy and Lisa helped us move. Mandy 6 1/2 months pregnant kept Lincoln occupied while we loaded, unloaded and cleaned. Lisa work with us until 11pm and was such a great help. It took us a good week to unpack and get settled. Misty couldn't wait until everything was in it's place and the pictures were hung on the walls. She just wanted everything done before she has to return to work. Her days of summer are over as of Friday. We are so excited and happy to be in this beautiful house and look forward to many years of memories here.

Our Summer Vaction 08

We took at trip to Utah and Idaho for a month this summer. We spent most of our time with family and friends. It was great to see everyone and spend some quality time together. We went to 2 concerts. Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum. After the concert Lady Antebellum was signing autographs, so Lincoln got up close and personal with them. They all thought that he was so cute! We spend time in Rexburg with the Hawks clan, helping with mom and dad's landscaping, and hitting golf balls into wheat fields. Price was hot as always, but trips to gas-n-go kept us cool, and the greek streak kept us full. We also took Lincoln on his first camping trip. He loved crawling around and eating rocks and weeds. Misty caught her biggest trout ever, at least a 5 pounder. Lincoln also got his first taste of fish and loved it. Lincoln got 4 new teeth on the top of his mouth that came in all at once. It was a rough few weeks with him not sleeping and being away from his familiar surroundings. It was a long, but fun trip!
