Day Two with the Dewsnups

We were so lucky to have the best weather, so for our second day adventure we decided to go see Salem, after all it was during Halloween...

What a great place for our little witches to sport their Halloween skirts!!

Our first visitors...

We were super excited to hear the Dewsnup's had their trip booked prior to us moving..

gave all of us something to look forward too :)

Sadly I should have had things planned or maybe some sort of a binder showing all the fun things we could explore, but I am just not that organized plus we really hadn't done much exploring..

So together we hit the big city....

 

 

I loved seeing these two together again...

They truly are "besties"

 

 

First Stop was the Boston Aquarium:

All the girls loved this part, you can actually pet the sting-rays

 

 

 

 

 

Bonnie was obsessed with a little fish who would pop out of a hole about half way and then go right back in... She watched him forever :)

 

 

 

After walking around with one stroller and 4 children.. we made our way to Boston Public Garden

who doesn't love a park :)

I cant wait to explore this park in the spring (during their tulip festival) or when they have their swan boats running in the summer...
(guess that means you have to come back erin) 

 

 

After a fun/long day of exploring we hit Mike's Pastry for some delicious Boston Cream Pie... Man I am addicted, I don't really have the love for cannolis

And just like that we have been here a month..Fall has always been favorite season of mine, and I was not disappointed one bit :)if you are thinking about heading back east may I suggest coming in the fall

 

This is the pond by our house..I have always watched the leaves turn in the mountains and love it, but there was something absolutely amazing about the leaves this year...

 

love being able to spend some one on one time with this little lady 3hrs every day is a lot... wonder if I should be offended that after only 30mins with me she is asking if we can go get zoie :)

sorry blurry but wahoo we found our local movie theater, this was a big deal(sadly we miss going with the Goodrich clan)

Zoie had her first field trip to Ward Berry Farms..

Thank goodness we have the Guerrero's here, 

my girls have latched onto Alex and Alicia they have become family!!

 

Our work weekend with daddy...

we have a million of these little guys around the yard and she wants to bring every single on into our house...  

September, a month of New things...

We have had a lot of learning experiences in this new state of ours, there are things we love and there are a few things we really can't figure out..

I can say that this state has been very welcoming to our little family and I feel very blessed to have this experience even if I am away from all I have know my whole life..

Our first adventure on the train to explore Boston

what an amazing city!!

We decided it was time to put this little bug into dance class

she absolutely loves it, always asking 
if its time to go see "my" friends

I'm loving that we found something that she gets so excited to do all by herself

I have a relative who is always on the look out for delicious burger joints
he came across Tasty Burgers

WOW deliciousness!!  

 

 

we have so many parks with walk ways
full of trees and winding paths

it is without a doubt a very beautiful state

 

Zoie had her first day of dance, I tried to keep her activities the same as

 we had in Utah trying to make the transition a little easier on her

HA HA

little did I know that she just assumed everyone had forgotten about her
because we didn't see anyone anymore...

First day of school, Zoie loves everything about school..

Her teacher Mrs. O'Brien has been very impressed with how well

Zoie is doing.. She is great at making friends and she loves to participate in class

 

Our first outing to a local farm where we could pick apples and eat freshly made doughnuts YUMMY!!!

it was also the first pumpkin patch of the year!!

very exciting for a family who loves fall

 

With Haydn's job we do get to enjoy a few benefits,

we are so lucky to be able to attend games at the Gillette stadium..

we took the girls to their first Revolution game
