It's only been a year give of take a few months.

Well, if you can believe it, I am finally posting a few new pictures. We just got back from a trip to Idaho. It was very fun and eventful. We took all five kids with us on the 24 hour drive. We broke down about 2 hours into the trip. We left our car in Paul's Valley, OK. (Don't be surprised if you haven't ever heard of it.) While it was being repaired, we rented a Suburban and continued on our way.

We went to my neices wedding. (Congrats Kylie and Colton Keaton) Heath and I went to our 20th high school reunion. (I know you are thinking we look way too young to have a 20th) And then we spent time with all the family in the area. It was great! Here are a few pictures of our adventures.

Naya decided she really likes ice cream cones. Brynn loved

the kitty. (Maybe a little too much) Grammy and Paca took us all to Leo's Pizza to play.

We all had a blast at Rigby Lake. Brynn thought the beach and boats were awesome. (Her word)

The boys loved the boats that our newest inlaw (Colton) brought out to use.

Meet Trinity

I just thought I would post a couple of pictures from our visit with Naya's sister Trinity. She spent most of last Sunday with us. She is only @10 months older than Naya. She will be two in early April. Since we have a picture with Naya in all the bows, we thought Trinity needed one also.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVIN AND NAYA

Today was both Devin and Naya's birthday. We had a busy one. I took cupcakes to Devin's class, went shopping for presents, fixed dinner, opened presents, had cake. Then, mom cleaned up the mess while everyone else played with Devin's new Wii game, boom blox. Being mom is great! Naya was not so sure about the cake thing until after everyone else was done. She eventually figured out the whole messy thing. All in all, a great day for both kids.

My friend Valerie made both cakes. Naya's was so cute with the little bear, and Devin was so excited to have skateboards on his. They both enjoyed the singing and candles. Then it was time to dig in.

Another tooth, another dollar

Devin has had a loose tooth now for several weeks. It was so loose, that it was hanging funny in his mouth. The snaggletooth look was driving me crazy, so last night Heath finally got him to let him pull it out. He was quite sad last night, but less so this morning when he found his shinny gold dollar under his pillow. Yes, the tooth fairy made it to our house on the actual night of the tooth pull. I was very impressed.

Peek a boo (almost)

Anything can be a toy if it makes them happy.

Naya has taken to emplying the diaper bag whenever she can. The other day she was performing her ritual, and I was letting her because it was keeping her occupied. Nothing in there she can't have right? Wrong. She came crawling around the couch pleased as punch about her new toy. I am a great mom!

McDonald's Night

Every Monday at McDonald's is dollar happy meal night. The kids don't get a toy, but the price is right. The other night we went, and Naya was sure someone should have shared their fries.
Sadly, this is exciting as January got for us at the Rasmussen home. We did have an ice day, but the kids didn't even want to go outside because it was too cold. So, no pictures.

Paisley did get to go to Austin with her class to see the capital building. She had a great time and learned a lot about our little state of Texas.
