Winter wonderland!!

Yeppers, I am an awesome driver on these snowy roads!! We have had blizzard like weather and let me tell you, MY LITTLE ACCORD IS AWESOME!! The new 4 tires I put on last March kind of helped... :D I usually hate driving in this stuff, but this year I am having a good time! I am busting through drifts, almost sliding off the road, and/or spinning cookies all without the usual screams! I can officially say I love the snow!

Home, Home on the range!

Well I am back in Rupert. I have been here for a few weeks now and have loved being home. I have to say Rupert... well I am in Paul but close enough :) anyway, I love this area! I am working as a CNA at the assisted living center. I was told last night by a 98 year old that I am a silly girl until I put her to bed and then I was a beautiful and wonderful girl. Well that is about all I can think of right now. Ohh Will is going to be in the second grade and knows more Spanish than most my family.

Well, I know I have been aweful at keeping this up to date! I just got done reading Annie's (or Drew depending on who you are!) and I realized that I really need to up date everyone! Will and I have lived in Teton, Idaho now for six months. I gathered that you all know I am married to a farm boy from Teton.... Anywho, we love it up here. It is so beautiful! I love living in a small town to boot!!!! In Rexburg there is a splash partk where the kids can go to the park and play in water fountains, little water slides, and a little water pool where the slides end. He rode his first horse last week. Yes granted it was on a marry-go-round, but it was still a horse! ;) He loved that too even though I got bored waiting for him, he said it was AWESOME! (I guess you have to be six years old to thing that going around and around in a circle is "AWESOME!") I miss my family a ton. Now that I live in the other direction from everyone (the Utah relatives included) I feel like they are all so far away! Poor Annie! Nebraska is a heck of a lot further away than Teton, ID! Well, if you every are heaing up to Yellowstone Park please come by! I miss everyone! Love ya all

Thinking Hard

Hello one and all! Not a whole lot has happened in our little corner of the world! Will loves school (which was not a surprise!) about ever day he changes what he wants to be when he grows up! I think in the last two or three hours it is now a basketball player... :D Funny guy!

Our summer was awesome! BJ had Will for four weeks this year, which Will loved! I am glad that he got to spend the extended time with his dad. As I am sure most of you know, BJ is taking Will to Hawaii in October when he goes over there to compete. Will is not to keen on missing a whole week of school, but I am sure he will not think of school when he is on the big island!

We have moved to student housing on campus. I love it! Will loves it too! He has made so many little friends, it is awesome! He is always bringing over his friends, which I love, and always wants to share whatever we have. So I try to have snacks for the kids :). Will has become a social butterfly! He has his "foundation" friends, which consist of our next door neighbor Benjamin and another little boy who lives in another building but in the same complex, Tyson. Tyson is in Will's kindergarten class so they play a lot with each other. Benjamin is a year older then the others but that doesn't seem to matter! I call them the three amigos! Sorry Hetty, Wayne, and Ed I took your group's nickname :)

Over the summer Will took his first year of swimming lessons and loved them. Daily he would ask me why he wasn't born a fish. He is my little fish. We went swimming a lot this summer. Had a blast! For Labor Day weekend we went to vernal to go looking for dino bones. We even found a few! Of course they had little signs and arrows to find them, but Will felt like a real paleontologist. A ton of fun.

Now for me, I have one more year of school here at ISU. I have talked with my advisor and we think I can graduate Spring '10. With such a decline in my grades resulting from my accident, I have been advised to go get my master's degree before I apply for the Neuropsychology doctorate program. I love Psychology this program will take in consideration the fact that I have had a major brain injury and they will be willing to work with me. My level of acceptance into the program is not so dependent on my GPA. I have personal experience with TBI (traumatic Brain Injury) that will be found priceless in this field. I will most likely be heading off to Eastern Washington for my master's.

Will and I love our new house. We love our new ward! We are in AUNT HETTY'S ward!!! A ton of fun! Hetty and Jeff sat with us today in sacrament meeting and then allowed me to sit with them again in Sunday school. It is so nice moving into a new ward with friends already there. I know that this was the Lord's hand that brought me to this point in my life. Things are going really really well in Psychology, we love where we are living, and I am closer to Hetty (which in return brings us closer to the Christenson's!) Will is doing very very well and so am I.

Heather and Bugs!

Greeting to all from Pocatello, Idaho! Will and I are still here for a little while...but hopefully not forever! I am still going to ISU. I have changed my major (hopefully for the last time!) to Psychology. I will hopefully be done with my degree in two years. If I pushed it really hard I could maybe get it in one, but I think I want good grades...so I am going to take a little longer :)! After I graduate I have a ton of options. I don't really think there are good jobs out there for just a BS in Psychology (but I am sure there is I just don't know!), so I can turn around and head right into the Occupational Therapy program after I get a bachelors, even maybe becoming a counselor here as well, or I even have the option of looking outside of Idaho and going to into Psychoneurology. So as you can see I have still five to six years left of school, yuck! But as I have been told, those years will come no matter what I do...so I guess I will go to school!


Bugs is growing up so fast! He is excited to go to school next year. Sorry I should clarify that a little, he is excited to go to the "big boy" school next year. He is five and registered to go to kindergarten! I can't believe he is old enough to go to elementary school, but I am so proud of his want to learn. He is physically huge as well, I call him my BFG (Big Friendly Giant). I have a hard time lifting him up! He is gianormous!!! He is getting so tall. He does still love Thomas the train, Lighten McQueen, and Curious George. He is reading. He has a few Scooby Do books that he will read to me. Man, I have a genius for a kid! ;)
