NYC

 I love coming to NYC! The older our kids get the more fun it gets to go into the city! Our kids LOVE NYC like we do! Whenever they see a city sky line they reminisce and ask to go back. This year we went over Labor day weekend.

 They always manage to stay entertained on the PACKED train

 We loved seeing all of the diversity. NYC is a place where you can dress in anyway that you wish and you could feel completely confident.....even if it were from your grandma's closet.

 I love that our kids were able to witness this memorial. It was also cool that just 3 days later they got to learn more about it in school.

 Walked across the Brooklyn Bridge......Ryan decided to throw his shoe over the edge. Initially Nate freaked out a little and said, "Nooooooo" It scared me to death that one of our kids had gone over. When I realized they were all accounted for Nate told me it was Ryan's shoe. In that moment I could have cared less about his shoe. However, as time went on I got annoyed that he threw it. Ha! Kids!

 Hungry tired kids and a 1 hour line for Grimaldi's, but it was GOOD!

 We decided next time we will be renting jet skis and will play on the East River

This has been on my bucket list ever since Becky discovered it. It was cooler than I thought. I can't really describe it, but if you have an obsession with F.R.I.E.N.D.S. then it is a must! 

 Reid will do whatever he can to get a kiss in before Nate. He knows how to melt my heart!

First Day of School

The girls started another year of school! It's always a bitter sweet day!

 So often I look at their growing faces and think of them as babies and toddlers and can't believe we are already to this stage! 

 They were both so anxious to go to school. Adalie is still enjoying school and not so much for Hallie. She misses Kindergarten.

 Reid started his last year of preschool! Ahhhhh, he is still my baby! He was SO ready to start! He loves school so much! Everyday after school as we are about to leave he says, "Wait! I have to go give my teacher a hug!" Then he goes to Mrs. Debbie and says so sweetly, "Can I give you a hug?"

 Ryan technically started preschool too. I am an aide at the school and he gets to go with me. He likes some days better than others, but is adjusting. 

Birthday Parties

 August and September are always crazy because we have four birthdays in our family! I told the girls that they could have a party if it was a joint one so that I wouldn't have to do two parties (we usually do a party every other year). However on their actual birthday we opened family presents and had cake and ice cream with just us. First up was Hallie:

 All she wanted was Lebron James and Minons. 

Next Up Friend Party (aka my birthday)

 For their friend party we did a carnival theme.....20+ girls.....it was WILD! 

 Our sweet neighbor and friend Morgan wore her jersey to match Hallie 

 I made the girls a popcorn cake at their request....

 .....and surprised them with the M&M's inside

 This was all Hallie cared about, playing basketball at the party

 Luckily our friends Laura and Brandon were there to help contain the chaos and babies....

 Next up Adalie: We knew we would be in NJ/NYC for her birthday so we planned accordingly. We stopped at Molly's cupcakes in NYC for Adalie and Ryan and sang Happy Birthday, but between refilling drinks for everyone and cleaning up a dropped cupcake, no pictures were taken of the actual event

 Fourth child problems, we barely got it together enough to let him open presents! Even though his birthday comes before Adalie's, he still had to go last. 

He was so happy to open presents because it was finally his turn! 

Indians Game!

 Every year Smuckers gives us 4 tickets (however they always let all 6 of us in) to attend a game. It's a fun event we always look forward to!

 Our kids were determined to catch a ball! 

 It started raining so they covered the field and we had to wait for about 20 minutes 

 Luckily we found some covered seats for the remainder of the rain

 We had heard about this "Kids Club" that was new and decided to go check it out! They LOVED it!

The following week Nate was offered tickets that weren't being used. We were about 10 rows from home plate. It was pretty cool. It was a gated off section and there was only one other family there with a kid, yes one kid! We stood out ha! It's okay we had fun anyways!
