Ever wondered how life would be like without waiting?

So we had our GP prelims today and it felt so surreal. No mood to revise anything seriously and it wasn't until my third paragraph in the essay that i knew what i was writing la. This totally didn't feel like a prelim paper at all. Can't believe that i sat for it just like that. WIS felt the exact same thing. Maybe all the mock revision papers took their toll and we somewhat became desensitized to all this stress(not as much as you, though).

Supposed to take a short break after lunch before heading home but one thing led to another and we ended up doing weird stuff to remember our stint in NANYANG. Pacts, jokes, pictures and videos. This summed up everything we did. Everyone was super sporting and co-operative, especially lin and nic eh? HAHA. Great teamwork with bro today. We should do this more often (:

Played some basketball after that without the family man. Our hands just felt the itch and we knew that temptation had won us over. We bounced, ran and perspired just for the fun of it.

It's kinda weird looking at the person who appears in the mirror. I wonder if this is someone i would have desired to be years back.

Back to WAIT. Like changes, it creates uncertainties, insecurities and all. But no one knows for sure if it's gonna turn out for the better or worst. It is this exact feeling of being somewhere, nowhere that makes this experience so uniquely SPECIAL. No doubt, waiting isn't something anyone likes, CORRECT? But sometimes, it's just inevitable.

If this is the way to define time spent together, maybe living past 85 doesn't seem that boring anymore.

The last lectures, tutorials and all today didn't seem as sad as they should have been. Even ms ng commented that our gp class was different from all the other graduating classes she had before. We had almost full attendence while classes before our time normally had half the class present only.

Did some stuff with bro after getting our classrooms to remember nanyang by. We talked and talked and talked. Time just passed us by. Maybe some stuff cross applies lol.

Went back to mugging mode after that. Almost fell asleep twice studying nuclear physics. They came and we studied with near empty stomachs. Waited for cheng's dad to come before leaving for dinner. Nice walk there and back with that moment of awkwardness as we ate.

Hope it wasn't weird for you this time.

Getting beaten into shape for the BIGONE. Perhaps coming here wasn't such a bad choice after all. We have an ambitious and forward-looking principal, great teachers who always know their stuff and an extremely conducive studying environment. Picturing the days doesn't seem to be as frightening as they used to be.

Having THAT bunch of people called buddies around helps a LOAD too. Not only are they around whenever you have study-related queries, they are also omnipresent in times of need. Be it during the ups, downs or just dead times, they're never far away. Really helps to bring down the stress level knowing that there's always THIS BUNCH of people who are willing to put down things just to hear you if you ever need them (: Yet another present i got from Nanyang.

This week wasn't that bad on the whole. Nothing majorly bad happened and the mood was generally ((: throughout. Got a middle finger from some cabbie yesterday but who cares? Lol. Still keeping the record- as of this moment, 4 days of peace! Having had to spend CT penning our two years worth of memories was nostalgic. Had the rainy days and the fine days. I think the good ones far outnumbered the not-so-pleasant ones. (that's because you never really left.) Yeah.

The seconds are trickling away...

Only realised today that MAYBE gp prelims wasn't this week.

no focus + no discipline = STRESS

Sighs. Hate to waste the 12 years of being in this education system by squandering these little weeks away but it's just difficult. Even the dead are reviving themselves for one last time so why can't i?

Being pissed off by little things. Don't like to throw all of these side comments on bro but he just seems to be everywhere (: By the time i get outta here, i'm probably gonna end up making some really GOOD friends and PISS some people off BIGTIME.

Jokes aside, i despise the proud. An overused saying but never less applicable- there's always a higher mountain out there. So KNOW your place and learn some humility.

Today wasn't a good day but at least the stress-packed period for today has passed.

The 317 i was on crashed into some lorry today. It's really unexpected since i take it almost everyday and nothing happened over the past 6 years or so. Everything seemed to slow down at that bend la. The lorry didn't stop when 317 was in the right of way. At that moment, i thought it was just another reckless driver and made nothing much of it. In matrix mode, as the bus didn't seem to slow down, i thought the lorry would still get away narrowly but my brain didn't register the collision till the lorry went up the curb from the impact of the crash. Man. But yeah. No blood, dead people or anything.

Just set me thinking about stuff. Yeah.

Finally feeling the slightest tingle of urgency. Late as it may be, it's still a good sign nevertheless (:

Progress has been slow but guess i'll pull through, somehow. Getting used to working at the uncompleted stuff and it feels somewhat good. Timer's only adding more stress and going back to school and seeing the muggers won't help. So till then, i'm gonna give this slack mind a break and enjoy the dying moments of this final pit stop.

Love the dynamics (:

Couldn't get to sleep so i figured that it'd be much better to come online and blog about 090807 (:

Not only is the date beautiful, the way this day unveiled itself is nothing short of, hmmm... Miraculous? Maybe i'm just exaggerating it but yeah. Too good to contain it but its just hard for others to understand. To the select few, they'll probably know about my aim in life and today just hits the bull straight in the eye lol.

Mood's been to the extreme ends these days. One moment, the world can be pure bliss while another can transform the world into lifeless monotony. Such an uncertain day in the morning. Through a weird series of events, i ended up at city link, browsing through the LB at MPH. Perhaps it's His doing or elsewhat but bro suddenly called and he was in the area too! Ended up with cheng at somerset with bro. Waited and waited and headed to Shaw House to continue the wait.

Initially, i thought my worst fears were about to materialise. Time changed everything again and i'm glad things turned out the way they did. Movie was lame but essential, fireworks worked their magic and dinner could never have been better. Even the MRT was never smoother. Yeah.

Lighter than ever was.

Newton was never more right in his life when he came up with his Third Law.

National Day celebarations yesterday. Really looked forward to this since it was gonna be a breath of fresh air- no lectures, tutorials or reminders of uncompleted assignments. The mime put up by the teachers were hilarious and singing by ex/current nyjc-ians rocked too. The dance performance was cool. I must say that the event was more or less of a success and i guess everyone enjoyed it, esp those nearly girls who really knew how to revert the evolution process. The chatterings, jeerings, unwanted comments... Man! I wonder how people can be so oblivious to their surroundings.

Kbox-ed with bro after that. Had to rush from marina to suntec's branch after they said that the small rooms were fully booked. At least it was worth it. We sang and sang as if there was no tomorrow. Just GAR GAR(be bold) SING LA! That's the advice bro gave and i took it lol. We sang solos, complements and duets. Hilarious when it came to 屋顶, 恋爱达人 and all the duets. Took turns to sing the female part but guess al was doing the bulk of it. Kept choosing songs to lose our voices. By the time everything ended, we sang ourselves hoarse lol.

So it was brotherly dinner again. Thought of slacking and taking a look at esplanade's library but we were both fatigued, both mentally and physically. Ended up at AMKHUB trying to find the missing piece of this jigsaw.

What's with everything?

Eve of the final pit stop before the BIGTHING. Somehow, i can't feel the push that bro felt. The engine's way too cold to get to the o level state.

Before i continue, let me THANK alvinwongweimun for being so generous with his flu bug. Been down with it last night and was runny today. With the exception of the usual umcompleted tutorials, today wasn't bad at all. Even got to watch AI during gp, even if it's only for half an hour.

Guy's talk at macs after that. At least he didn't have a reason to ps me after lunch lol. You should be honoured that the wait for the bus was shortened by my presence la! Haha. Let's waste our voices tmr and then pump our brain cells with knowledge after that yeah?

Waiting, waiting and more waiting. I was super irritable today. Kept having the feeling that i was in the wrong place. Shouldn't have gone to church to wait to go Festival of Praise or end up waiting there like an idiot. I had work to do and really, my mind was dense with thoughts.

The wait outside the stadium didn't exactly lift my mood. Still feeling unsettled as the worship began and i really wondered if i should have given this year's FOP a miss. Gone with the wrong mood and all. Who knew? He was still in control of everything after all. The turning point came after the occurence of 2 things:

1. heard the lead singer of delirious? telling us to sing to Him our problems, frustrations and all that matters to us.
2. He sleeps so that we can wake.

The first one hit me. And my mind got clearer as more songs were sung. Fussing over nothing really does complicate things. The second one kinda struck me. Maybe i'm starting to see/feel the effects of back-sliding. I felt so disconnected at that instant. But yeah.

Tried to get things right but words, once spoken, are difficult to take back. So yeah. My fault okay.

Everyone went crazy and high on the journey back. Dinner-ed at RK, courtesy of unclericky.

Everyday seems like the last. There's almost nothing new, with the usual tutorials stacking up under a different title each time. Looking around the school compound after 5pm these days really makes you feel like an alien if you haven't been doing your share of mugging.

Spent the CLB blog surfing while waiting for gay to get his stuff printed then to the canteen to be a plague. Tried out the sushi for the first time today and i got hooked. Some good old guys talk and yeah. Open-ness is the way to go. Loitered around the college and finally settled in library for a bit of last minute cramming.

It's FRIDAY tomorrow, which means NIGHT STUDY! Hell yeah! Time to check out what kinda food is being catered and perhaps show half of WIS some LOVE.
