Well today has been an exciting and eventful day that started early this morning. At 6:22 am Nyki Johnson, Pat's Daughter and my older girl cousin had her baby. His name is Zachary Binx Johnson, he is six pounds and 19 1/2 inches long. He has beautiful dark hair and long fingers. Sadly though he is not a healthy little baby. His heart is to big. He has what is called Epstein Anomaly which is where one valve in the heart doesn't work properly causing the other side to pump larger and harder. It is making him breath very quickly and very hard.Mom was able to be there when he was born and is now staying at the hospital with Nyki. She is so excited to be wearing one of his wrist bands and having anytime access to him. Right now the doctors are trying some medication to help heal the malfunctioning valve, but if that doesn't work they will be flying him to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City for surgery.
It seems as if the Lord is never through testing us but oh well what can we do but pray and carry on. We will be having a family fast on Monday the 16 if you would like to join us we would appreciate it. Thank you for the support and Prayers.
