St Louis

Its vacation time again and this time its St. Louis, Missouri.  We visited few must see places and I have taken some pictures. First we went to St Louis Zoo.  The heat was almost a 100 degrees F.  At the end of the day we went to Union Station.  Walked for a while then off to dinner. Called it a day at 10 pm.
Second day we went to The Science Center and the Cathedral of Basilica Church.  Whenever we go to St Louis, we always make it a point to visit the church.   Then we headed off to the Budweiser Brewery. The brewery tour took about 1 hour and the best part was you get a free mug of beer for tasting...., and the last destination was the Grant's Farm.

Today was so much of fun since it was Father's Day; we went for a stroll to the Arboretum after lunch.  These are some random pictures that I took.  The scenery was really beautiful especially with little streams everywhere. Sometimes we just have to lay back and enjoy the nature and let things take its course.  In my ever hectic lifestyle with kids and daily chores, I really felt so peaceful today. Bloom

My white rose just had the first bloom today.  I am super excited since my plants never get pass for more than 1 month,  probably its the hot weather that we are having these days that has been helping them. We have been getting some really hot weather up here in central lately.  The heat index today went almost to 100 degrees.  We were also in ozone alert today...can u imagine.  Took the kids to the pool to cool off.  I just had to get my mind of from the miserable weather, so I thought I would make myself a brownie tart.  I know, I should have just made some lemonade but right now its brownie time.
