I haven't blogged in almost 2 years! WOW....
Natasha is so excited to be going to the big 6th grade. She is going to the intermediate school. She is getting grown up so fast. A little too fast if I say so my self.

Pictures in their classrooms. I must say I got a little teary eyed when they all went to school and I came home. I was all by myself. Now don't get me wrong, it is a good thing, but I guess I will face the fact that I am getting old. All my kids are in school ALL DAY!!!!!! 
Ok so I am not doing so good at this blogging thing. I guess I have issues. I love to blog surf and read everyone's blogs, but I just have a hard time getting to mine. But here is an update of the last 2 months. We have had a great summer. Much better than last year. I can't believe it has been a year since Jack had his Kidney transplant. Both he and his brother are doing better than great. But this summer we have had a great time.
My sister and I spent a week in Northern utah. We had a lot of fun with the kids and we cleaned out my grandma's (mom's) downstairs. We worked hard and played hard.
We went camping a lot and fishing. This was one of our trips to yankee Meadow. I lost my favorite fishing pole there.
Lake Powel.....!!!! Need I say more. OK I will . This is my favorite summer vacation. It was my family reunion. We hiked a slot canyon in West Canyon on Lake Powell.

Jack's mom and dad got called on a mission to Apia Samoa. They left August 3rd. They are going to be great missionaries. They spoke in church on July 26th. We had dinner at our house that day. The house was full of family food and fun. What more could we want????

There is real good story behind this Mt. Rushmore trip so here goes!!!!! 2 weeks ago, our family was getting all set to go to Denver, CO. Jack has a sister that moved there not too long ago, and we had not been there to see her yet. One of her boys was getting baptized, so we thought it would be a good time to go and visit. We left Thursday and drove 9 hours to CO. It was a good drive the kids did great. Well we had a great time there and got to see a lot of stuff. Well.....(When ever we travel I always like to take a atlas and look at things a read the map... I love to read maps, it is sorta a little hobby of mine) I was looking at the map and I said "Jack do you realize that we are only 6 hours from Mt. Rushmore? " We guess what happened. We got up early Monday morning and drove to Mt Rushmore. No plans Just do whatever we feel!!!! It was so fun. We got there in 6 hours and went to Crazy horse memorial. The statue If you call it that will be the largest statue in the world when it is done. The pictures are at the bottom. Then we went to Mt. Rushmore. It was amazing. It was neat. We spent as much time there as we wanted and then headed home. Ok then it gets better. Jack this time was looking at the map to see where we were and he said It is only about 20 minutes out of our way to go to nebraska. Just to drive through so the kids could say they have been there. What were we thinking. Well all in all it took us about 14 hours to drive home. We did it in 2 days. What a great adventure. That was such a fun vacation. I love being spontanious.

This going to be april in a nut shell. Sorry for the long lapse of not blogging. I don't even have an excuse. Well I even think that I got the pictures backwards. Oh WELL!!!! The one above is Natasha and some of her friends doing a lip sync for the imagine contest. they took first place and performed in the awards assembly. It was really cute.

Now onto the Daddy daughter date. The activity day girls and their dads went fishing.
I can't forget soccer. My boys were on the same team and that was great. Natasha was unable to play because she was still in her cast. It sure seamed all of our games were windy and cold. If you were there then you will remember. It was still a lot of fun.
Other than that, I am glad may is here. I am looking forward to school getting out. I am hoping to have a great summer. I am also hoping that I will blog more than once a month.
I know I know, I am a little late with my blog. It seems like I just can't get everything done in the day. I really feel like time is flying by. I just want to freeze it for a while. Well this was Hayden's first pinewood derby. He took 2nd. He was so excited. He also got the most popular car. All the boys voted on which car they would like to take home and it was Hayden's. He decorated it like spider man. He loves spider man. It was fun.!!!!!

I know it has been a while since I have posted. I just really haven't wanted to. I don't even know why. These are my pics from Arizona. My nephew Parker just got home from his mission and I rode down with my mom and dad to see him and my sister. We had a great time. They have a cabin about 30 minutes from their home in Eager. It was super cold, but we went swinging despite the wind. We had such a fun time. I think we had more fun posing for the pictures than we actually did swinging.
