In honor of Sissy's birthday in September, she chose to have a Pop Star Talent Show. We made microphone invitations and passed them out with a rule that everyone must participate!
It was so much fun!! We set the TV up to the video camera so that they could see themselves dancing on the TV, we had a strobe light and lots of music!! 
The night before halloween, we were in Show Low and Aunt Shanlee and Uncle Clint took us to their ward party, where we got to wear our costumes again, and of course... got more candy!!
Just to let you know, that Daddy and Papa Steve took Brynkli, Sissy, Trey, Bryden, Rusty, and Jackson all on their own!! Me, and Grandma Nina got to take all her young women to the Haunted Corn Maze... What fun that was!
This is on our way to the huge Show Low Trunk or Treat. I must say, I've never been to a better one. Usually I hear trunk or treat and think "cheesy" but this one was fun, everyone participated and decked out their vehicles... it was put on by the businesses of the community and there were tons of cars!
John was a "Shabby Security Gaurd" and was quite the charmer! Everyone loved his costume and he even got to dance around for these 2 ladies who got the biggest kick out of him! Took pics of his front AND his back!! Just to fill you in, his backside is as lovely as his front, a nice big "Crack" with lots of "Buns" for all to see! The kids in line behind us were putting candy into his "Crack"! Go John!! 
I obviously, was his "Inmate"!
Brynkli chose to be a Pirate, a girl one mind you... It is a dress!!

The time when you come home and put all your candy into piles of the same candy and then start the TRADING!! "I love this... I'll trade you for that!!"
Bryden was sneaking all the candy while everyone was busy putting them into piles!!
These last few months have been crazy ones!! (I guess not just the last few, lets go all the way back to July!!) John has been working and working over in Show Low, while the kiddos and I have been here in the lovely town of Paulden... we've got our house up for sale, and we are just chugging along in school work!I have been running around like a crazy chicken with it's head cut off!! Pay the bills, do the shopping, and the cooking, and the cleaning, and the dusting, and the mopping.....wow... I am sounding a little too much like a famous character in our house... the lovely, Cinderella!!
Well, I am home from church today with some sick kiddos, so I figured now would be a good time to get caught up!!!
So check back in often to see what else is showing up... I've got 2 b-days to post, Halloween, Thanksgiving, our wonderful trip to Idaho, and Utah, and lots of plain ole family fun!

So I know this is a little on the cheesy side, but this spider web really got to me this morning. I was outside trying to gather the kids back in to get ready for church and happened to look up to see this amazing web on our roof top, carfully pinned down on each side of the web, carefully spun and detailed with great care.
The GREAT "Kicker Spicker"!!
Ha ha, it was hilarious! She did this little back kick thing to stop the ball... Everyone cheered for her and the coach was saying what an awesome play it was!!
During her break she comes over, and Uncle Mikey
was telling her,"We should give that cool move a name!"
So she says..."Well, it already has a name,
it's called the "Kicker Spicker"

This is Sissy's first year in soccer...she has been waiting for 2 whole years to be allowed to play!! :)
(Her big sis is 2 yrs older than her...)Her time is finally here, and Saturday was her first game! She did great! Let me just say that Sissy's life wish is to have tons and tons of friends! She has friends everywhere we go! She is such a sweetheart and would never miss a chance at having a new friend!
Let me just set the stage for you....
Me, the mom... sitting on the sidelines shouting...
"Sissy! Get in there! Get the ball! Take it, and run it to the net! Take it from the other team Sissy!"
Then there's sweet little Sissy...
Running along side of the players, waiting patiently for the ball to not be "Belonging to anyone's feet"... once there was a break between the "new friend" and the "ball" then she'd snatch it and run with it.
Half time comes along....
Me, the mom says...
"Sissy, when you are out there, you can take the ball away from the other team, just run up and steal it with your good kicks and make a goal"
Sissy's response....
"Mom... all my friends keep pushing me and using their elbows on me"
POOR LITTLE SWEET TENDER GIRL!!!! She is out there worrying about her new friends and in the mean time... getting her feelings hurt cause they are "PLAYING SOCCER"!!
So, she definately is not our aggressive girl... Loves to play and hang out, but not so fond of "STEALING the ball from her FRIENDS!"
I am the only one that gives IRA crap... Ira has learned to just "DEAL WITH IT" when I'm around... ha ha!! Thanks for putting up with me Ira, it's all in love!!
