addison's 3 year appointment was in january... some notes on where she is right now...
39.57" tall
32 pounds

still long and lean. wearing 3T clothing and size 8 shoes. could get by with a 2 in the waist, but probably needs a 4 for the length! ha!

potty trained, except for night time, we have had some issues there. did awesome for a while but are back to bedtime diapers. boo.

loves princesses (especially rapunzel and belle) and animals. SASSY. loves her friends and says prayers for them every night. loves her baby brother! eating like a horse these days. can't seem to get full!

had her tonsils out feb 18. was two weeks of terrible behavior and crying, but she seems to feel so much better. praying this works so we don't have any more allergy-induced asthma issues...

sutton's 4 month appointment was last week (a little early), he is 15.5 pounds and 24.8" tall. definitely "thicker" than addison ever was as a baby. maybe that's just a boy? definitely not chubby, just thick. size 2 diaper, about to move up to a 3. wearing 3-6 month clothing and a size 1 shoe, i guess. none of his shoes are sized that way.

has a great smile with a perfect dimple in his left cheek. got a really good chuckle out of him today, still hasn't belly laughed for us. i guess we aren't that funny!

this boy LOVES to eat. LOVES. i can't keep up with him, so we are supplementing. we did get the go-ahead to start rice cereal when we feel like he is ready, and i don't think he is just yet, but really hoping that helps fill the bottomless pit he calls a tummy when we do start!

hasn't managed to roll over just yet, but seems interested in doing so. i think it will happen soon. he found his cute little feet today. =)

i'm not making any promises...

i am so embarrassed at how terribly i have neglected this poor blog for the past...18 months??? especially considering that we are now a family of four and i know i won't be meticulously documenting sweet sutton's every move as i did with addison's first few. there are only so many hours in a day!

so these days, addison is a busy, bossy, sassy three year old with a tiny, precious, incredible little brother named sutton gregory reed. sutton was born at 9:08 am on tuesday, november 23, 2010, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and measuring 19 1/2 inches. as soon as we saw him, we were shocked at how much hair he had, and how much he looked like addison when she was born! as he gets older, though, and his face changes, i see less of her and more...sutton!

i laugh now thinking of how scared of having a baby boy i was -- he's so wonderful and the most amazing, perfect addition to our little family!

anyway, here are a few of my favorites from the last three months...

Two Year Picture Sneak Peek!

We finally got Addison's two year pictures taken, after having to reschedule multiple times due to weather!!! I am still anxiously awaiting the final preview, but our sweet (amazing) photographer Jessica Ritchie posted some sneak peeks today! Love!!!
