Happy 4th of July!!!!!

Riley Kate-6 months, Addyson-almost 3!

I cannot believe my girls are getting so big, so fast! Riley just turned 7 months (she's 6 months in these pics) and Addyson will be three in 2 weeks! Riley is sitting up now, not yet crawling, but creeping around a little bit. She is eating everything we put in her mouth--just baby food, and she tried some Gerber Puffs this week, her new favorite. Addyson continues to amaze us with how she is so inquisitive about everything. She is asking a lot of "why" questions now. She loves to sing and dance and play with all her stuffed doggies! They are both such a joy! We just love to hear Addyson making Riley laugh and both of them laughing together, out loud!!! We are so blessed!

Weddings........

This is a Summer of weddings for us. We haven't had a whole lot lately, but we've got several this summer. One, in which, Justin did the ceremony. It was at Chateau Elan, just outside of Atlanta. It is a winery, golf resort, spa.....beautiful place for a wedding! It is a family that I taught with when we lived here before--Justin actually officiated their son's wedding about 5 years ago. So, that was fun to get to see them and catch up! They had gotten us a room for 2 nights and with all of our summer craziness, leaving the girls, we weren't able to--bummer! But, it was still fun to go back and forth and hang out Friday night and Saturday. The wedding was great--Justin did a great job and everything was beautiful!

Camo babies!!!

My dad loves to hunt and got Addyson a little camo dress when she was a baby--which Riley can now wear. He also sent Addy some overalls recently. So, for a belated Father's Day gift, I thought I'd take some pics of the girls outside in their camo. (Justin likes to hunt too, along with both our brother in laws, so we've got a pic for everyone, now.) While doing so, 2 deer crept out of the woods behind our house. If only I could have captured them in the background.........
