13 days....

YAY! I have the nursery done! It is wonderful! The changing table is in the room and even has a changing pad and wipes on top...as well as our 2 stocked diaper bags....I am going to post a picture of the room before it became the nursery (remember it was our storage/business/office/guest (HA!) room before) and the picture that I have is after we started cleaning it out....scary!!!This is what we started with...sorry it's not the whole room--too embarrassing!

MY Fabulous hubby made this!!! Can you believe it!? I dont have a before shot because it didnt occur to my pregnant brain to take one until the dresser was dismantled in my living room....for those of you who may remember it...it was just the drawers and was an old brown color and had different handles on it... you are all jealous- I can tell!

The diaper stacker that my mother-in-law made...she made our whole crib set--I LOVE IT! The stacker looks yellow but it is green with blue stripes!

And lastly...me being more pregnant...his head is measuring 8 cm wide...whew and will probably be around 8lbs...and some ounces. :)

17 days and counting...

Ok, so time has gone by waaaaay too fast and I now realize that I haven't posted in a month....wow. So, settle in...I have 17 days left before my due date...scary! We have had the epidural class and I actually left it in tears...this whole having a baby thing is SCARY! I know, everyone says it is worth it and I believe them but I just need to remember this whole labor thing is "pain with a purpose" (That's our class mantra...along with breathing in for 6 and out for 6). Jeremy has been absolutely amazing with calming me down, rubbing my feet (since I have gained 30 lbs. this pregnancy and it now hurts to stand and walk for long periods of time-my feet arent used to the extra weight), and tirelessly building my beautiful changing table!!! I wish I had gotten a before shot- he is impressive. I am so grateful he is handy and enjoys building his talents- even if we dont have a garage and have to woodwork in our living room (how ghetto!). Sigh...one of these days my house will be clean...and not filled with sawdust...

Last weekend was Brionna's wedding in UT. I was allowed to attend (by my doc) and we did not go into labor-not even a contraction (not to my knowledge). I was treated like I was broken and not allowed to move too much but I know it's because no one wanted me to go into labor...hahaha! I dont really blame them. Congrats to Brionna & Adam!

This week I have FINALLY gotten to put all the wonderful baby gifts away- my friend Nicki came over with her amazing organizational skills and we put the nursery together, made the crib, washed all the clothes, put the "baby" bathroom together, put all the gifts away, and even filled a diaper bag with the essentials- all in 3 hours! She is my superhero! I now feel like if I go into labor, it will be ok because I can actually find the diapers and wipes! THANK YOU NICKI!!!
My spring break has gone by way too fast and I am sad that I have to go back to work on Monday--but then again, I only have 2 weeks of work and then he is due...who knows when he will show up so we will see.

I get to have an ultrasound done on Tuesday and another oh-so-fun-exam by my doc. on Thursday...apparently baby's head is very low and things have softened out...she predicts another week so we will see. Jeremy keeps asking me if I have had a rush of energy and feel like I can conquer the world (aka nesting) because that apparently happens a few days before the baby is supposed to come....I am not exhausted but dont have ample amounts of energy...I am just here and getting bigger by the day- I will take pics and post them today, hopefully--but I am still told I only look like I am 6 months along...oh well. :) I will also take pictures of the beautiful nursery (that is still shared with chocolate fountain stuff- we dont have anywhere else to put it all!) but you can get the idea. :) Ok, this is long- thanks for reading and we will keep you posted.
