Look who's 2!!!

That's right, my Dylan turned two (ok back in November). He had a great birthday. We went to the mall and let the boys (and my mom :) build a bear, took a train ride and had lunch at CPK. Oh, we also went and visited Santa. Later that night we had a big pizza party for him with all of the family. Dylan is the sweetest boy who's vocabulary and clarity of words continues to amaze me. Everyone loves a Dylan hug or a kiss. We are so lucky to have this little boy in our family. Enjoy the pictures.

A Birthday Sundae!!

Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!! We had a great Halloween, the boys got a TON of candy. This will be a long post, but I promise it will be worth it.

This is from the Trunk or Treat. The temperature that night was about 20 degrees below our normal temperature. So it was freezing!! For us anyway.

Dylan was awesome on Halloween night. He didn't walk from house to house, he would RUN from house to house. Even if it meant dragging his bag of candy. He wanted no help from mom, dad or the stroller.

Washington Trip

We went to Washington last July (I know I am a little behind). I think everyone needed a break from the heat! This year John was able to join us for a much needed vacation.

I think it took about one meal with Dylan eating at this table and my parents were off to get a highchair.

Taking the ferry to Seattle. Poor Dylan was having such a difficult day. We were eating lunch at Pike Market, when Dylan suddenly fell off of his chair. John had the salt shaker in his hand and immediately dropped it to catch Dylan. Well the salt shaker and Dylan hit the floor at the same time. While this wasn't a bad fall for Dylan the salt shaker on the other hand made a LOUD crash sound which everyone in the restaurant stopped and looked to find little Dylan on the ground sobbing. I immediately picked him up and we were out of there :)

4Th of July is the best holiday here. After you light off your fireworks you get to sit by the water and watch a ton of different firework shows. Jacob LOVED it!!

Jacob could spend hours throwing rocks into the ocean. Everyday when the tide was out he would go and throw rocks. We kept having to move him and Dylan back as the tide came back in.

There is so much wildlife here. We loved watching the seals play and the eagles flying around. It was a nice change from scorpions :)

Jacob is 4!!!

I can't believe this actually happened, but Jacob is 4. His birthday was Tuesday, September 8. John had the day off so we could play all day. We first met up with my mom for breakfast. Jacob got his own pancakes (he didn't have to fight Dylan for the top pancake with sugar on it). He even got a free cupcake! Next we met up with his cousins at Amazing Jakes for lots of games, rides and food. Finally, we had a party for him that night complete with more games, pizza, presents and not 1 but 2 Baskin Robins cakes. Jacob had been looking forward to his birthday since May. So there was a lot of build up to the big day. While Jacob looks forward to this day, I know I have to get up early and my feet have to hit the ground running. I think at about 10pm I finally got to sit down. It was defiantly a lot of diet coke kind of a day. Anyway, Jacob had a fantastic day and that is all that matters.
