Boozer

Our little Booze-Cruz is growing up so fast! He's huge now! He's so fun, though. He's our wittle baby. :)  Kids will come in the future but he will suffice for now! He's much easier. We can just kick him outside! Hahaha.

Total BFFs!

The other day, Jon took him up town in the Jeep and apparently Boozer wouldn't get in the back so he rode in the front seat and just looked straight out the windshield! Hahaha.

One Year?!

I seriously cannot believe it has been one year since we got married! It went by soo fast. People have always told me, "6 months is the hardest", "the first year is the hardest", you know, all the typical things.. Yes, 6 months was hard. Yes, one year has been hard.  But it's worth it!  We made it to the one year mark. It's all smooth sailing from here, right?! ;)  It has been a good year, lots of learning and growing together. :)

 

One year down, eternity to go! Love you babe!!

Hunt 2012

I'm just a little behind on this blog. I'm trying to get caught up.. not that we have anything exciting but oh well!
We both had deer tags this year. It was a fun year!  Paul and Jon had quite the experience I hear. :) I wasn't quite sure I would get a deer because I had already missed one I had shot at but Sunday (the last day of the hunt) came around and I told Jon that if I skipped the morning hunt and went to church, I would surely find a deer! :) On the way out in the afternoon, before we even got to our private property, I got one.. Good thing I went to church! Hahaha.

 Jon and Paul say they were both on the four-wheeler with both of the deer.. wish I would have seen that! :)

Meet Boozer.

 

Jon finally got his Boxer he has been wanting for a looong time! :) He is seriously the cutest puppy ever! He's cute until he grows up...right? :) It's so fun to watch him learn things. He has almost mastered stairs and he's almost got jumping down! Haha.. it's hilarious to watch him jump. He jumps straight up and down instead of forward so it's more of a bound. :)

 It's so fun to watch Jon with him. I can't help but let my mind wander to how great of a dad he will be to our future kids! :)

Road Trip!

This weekend we went on a road trip! I wanted to see Arizona since i've never really ever seen it.  We made a huge loop down through Flagstaff, Sedona, Jerome and over to Prescott then to Wickenburg and up to Hoover Dam.  I wanted to see Hoover Dam SO bad but didn't get to.. hahah. We couldn't see anything driving over the bridge so we found the exit to drive down to walk across the bridge and we pass a sign that said, "security checkpoint 1 mile". Jon's response.."uh oh".  He had his dang pistols with us! Haha, needless to say, we didn't make it to the dam! :( Better luck next time!

Sedona is SO beautiful! I took a gazillion pictures!

This is the Chapel of Crosses, I think.. We hiked up the driveway to it. It was pretty but so not worth the exercise.. :)

Jerome, AZ is built on this hill.  It looked like some foreign country! It was crazy.  The rode from Jerome to Prescott was ridiculous! I don't ever get carsick but that road was so winedy and went on for so long that I was feeling so gross! :( I don't recommend it! hahah.

It was so much fun just driving and spending time with Jon for once! :) Love road trippin'!

Camping!

We finally got to go camping! :) Jon bought a camper shell and we seriously needed to test it out! We went on the Kaibab.  It was so much fun!  We stayed the first night by ourselves and the next day, some of the Mace fam came up! :) The weather was so nice, except for the rain that decided it didn't want to go away and come again another day! :) We went on dirtbike/rhino/four-wheeler rides a lot. Jodi and Joyce brought all of the food and fed us the whole time! Thank you! :) The other day, I told Jon we needed to fit another trip in before it got cold.. He said, "even if it is cold, we have the camper shell!" Uhh.... :)

yuh-tuh-hey!

Holy navajos! :) I decided I wanted to go to Page and see where Jonny used to live..just for something to do together besides sit at home! I didn't believe him when he said it was navajo central..guess I had to see it for myself! But I believe him now! :)  We went to the dam, walked across the bridge, visited the dam visitor's center, and took the dam tour! :) haha. It was pretty fun! I loved learning about the dam!

 Hahah, this was the best picture I could get of the house! It took us three drive-bys. How embarrassing! Third time is a charm, right? :) The people were probably ready to call the cops on the stalkers that kept stopping in front of their house taking pictures! :)

We ate at Strombolli's! Seriously sooo yummy! :) This is Jonny with his calzone as big as his head! :)

I love spending time with the hubs and going on little dates even if it is to Page! :)
