Brody is 1!

Party People in da House! No tooting!

Walking 2 weeks before his birthday! Meanie me took him to his checkup where they gave him 5 shots. That's as bad as my mom scheduling us 7:30am dental appointments on our vacation days off from school. It's just down right rude! Happy Birthday to a happy, squishy, giggly, tickly, out of this world cutie boy BRODY!!!

The tree is up!

My family is appalled that I would stoop to a blasphemous FAKE tree. We used to go and cut one down every year when I was growing up. Husband and I decided we would rather spend our money on presents than a tree every year so we took the plunge. Now if we could only get the lights to work...

Attack of the Warts!!!

Poor Aidan got this nasty little virus called "Molluscum Contagiosum." The dermatologist scraped off about 35 today with a little tool. They are warts with a white ball inside. It is painful, but he was brave and didn't cry.

Brody's Buddy

My visiting teachers gave this cute stuffed mouse to Brody right after he was born. Within the last couple of months he has grown very attached to it. He sucks on it's tail and ears, giggles and hugs it. He has to have it to sleep with or he's not a happy camper.

Let Christmastime Begin!

Gingerbread house, done. As if we weren't lazy enough, the gingerbread kit at Costco this year comes with the house pre-assembled.

Lost Tooth

Aidan finally lost his first tooth at age 6 1/2. His permanent tooth completely grew in behind his baby tooth. After much drama and bribery, he let me pull it out. I hope the tooth moves forward!

It's going to be a long winter...

4 new teeth! Ouch!

This pic was the best I could get without making him too mad! He is one drooling, snotting machine. The poor guy has been miserable and has continued to be my little parrot perched on my arm (as Jon refers to him). I know I am holding him too much but I figure he might be my last baby and I want to enjoy every last bit of him!

Ever wonder how I get so many good deals? They are waiting for me evey Sunday morning in a pile. That way, if something is a really good price, I can get 6 of them instead of one!

Conference Breakfast

It's LDS General Conference today so I thought I should make something special for breakfast. Popping open a can of Pilsbury is as special as it's gonna get! I'm so tired this morning. Aidan loves these though. I think I need a good recipe for homemade cinnamon rolls. Does anyone have one?

Campout cut short

The kids really wanted to spend the night in the backyard last night. Jon had to work the next day so it was me and the kids. Early this morning at 2am I was awoken to the splattering of sprinklers on the side of the tent! I grabbed all the stuff out as fast as I could and sent them inside. See the puddle inside? Matt & Chalyn, your tent is clean!

Wait!!!

This is the first time my kids have experienced the ice cream truck. It was very exciting! They were happy to enjoy it with their across the street buddies.
