Heavenly Father, I Thank You for another beautiful day today. Thank you Lord for all the blessings and your provision. Father God, I invite your presence to dwell in me and change me where I need to be changed. Reveal any times where I have not said the right Words or communicated the right things to my husband (wife) and i will confess it as sin, for I know I fall far short of your glory. (Romans 3:23) Teach me how to communicate openly and honestly so I will speak excellent, right and truthful words. In Jesus name I pray, amen!

Heavenly Father, I Thank You for another beautiful day today. Thank you Lord for all the blessings and your provision. Father God, I pray that you will protect us from any breakdown of communication. Teach us to listen to one another and recognize the signs in each other that give us greater understanding. Help us find things we enjoy doing together so that we will grow closer and not apart. Enable us to be able to communicate love, appreciation and honour to each other at all times. Teach us to recognize the enemy's plan to steal, rob, and destroy the marriage. Enable us to understand his methods and his attempts to stir up strife and miscommunication between us. Help us to take instant authority over any attack he brings against us- especially in the area of communication. Help us to settle all matters of disagreement between us in a loving, compromising, and considerate manner. Enable us to be always in unity with You and with each other. In Jesus name I pray, amen!

Heavenly Father, I Thank You for another beautiful day today. Thank you Lord for all the blessings and your provision. Father God, I pray that you will protect us from any breakdown of communication. Deliver us from any temptation to lie to each other about anything or deal falsely with one another (Leviticus 19:11). Help us to be totally honest and open about everything. Teach us to speak with truth, wisdom, instruction and understanding. (2 Timothy 3:7) In Jesus name I pray, amen!

Heavenly Father, I Thank You for another beautiful day today. Thank you Lord for all the blessings and your provision. Father God, I pray that you will protect us from any breakdown of communication. Help us to spend time communicating with you everyday so that our communication with each other will always be good. Teach us how to openly express love for one another, and keep us from any laziness or selfishness that would cause us to neglect to do that. Help us to refuse to speak words that tear down, but only words that build up. In Jesus name I pray, amen!

Prayer for protection: 

Lord, I invite your presence to dwell in our marriage. I pray that you would protect my husband (wife) and me from any kind of breakdown of communication. Enable us to always share our thoughts and feelings and refuse to be people who don't talk. Teach us to trust each other enough to share our deepest hopes, dreams, fears and struggles with one another. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Here are the key points for success in your marriage, if you do things in God's way and refuse to give up:

1. The truth is, everyone needs to change. For we all fall short of the glory of God (read Romans 3:21-23). We will always need to submit to Him and not think so highly about ourselves that we feel we don't need to change. 

2. The truth is, everyone can change. You can change. And your spouse can change. God is in the business of changing people. By the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit, everyone can do it.

3. The truth is, being married creates the perfect opportunity for change.

Some may think that we don't have to change at all. But nobody is perfect and change is necessary. Marriage always inspires change. God will start with those who are willing. 

4. The truth is, people cannot make someone else change. A husband/ wife cannot make their spouse change. But God can change both. And it's the work of the Holy Spirit. 

5. The truth is, only God can work changes in us that last. If we are willing, only God can transform us. 

The truth is, we can do all the above by the power of prayer. Prayer can do wondrous things, when we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. Romans 8:28 says that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. But if you read the verses before that promise, you will see that the Bible is talking about prayer. In other words, all things work together for good if we are praying. Things are not promised to work out for good automically. That's why we have to start praying if we have not been doing it.

There’s a reason behind why at a certain age people will say ‘there are a lot of things in life which don’t really matter anymore.’ That’s when u learnt how to appreciate little things in life, cherishing every happy moments in life with the people who matter the most to you. And it’s also at this point, no matter how people insult you or treat you badly, it doesn't matter to you anymore because they have got nothing to do with your life.

            We’re human beings trying to be perfect in this world of imperfections. The harder we try, the more we’ll fail. Nobody is perfect in this world. The fact is, we all are created differently in this world, keep in mind that, only YOU have your very own unique personality, you certainly can’t find another you in this whole wide world with the population of 7 billion people! So, just be YOU, the one and only who’s wonderfully and fearfully made. Be yourself, as long as you don’t do anything which hurts others. There are 4 kinds of personalities in this world, and you can’t expect everyone to have the same personality as you. The way people do things are also different, hence, no matter how well we think we’re doing our things, we can’t please everyone in this world. So, just chill out and relax. People out there will like to give opinions and sometimes in a harsh manner, scolding you, putting all the blame on you and stuffs. Yes, we've to be still open to opinions and try to make things better if the opinions are useful. But, don’t let that change you. Stay the same and be merry.

            There are always ups and downs in life. Nobody in this world don’t have to undergo hardships. Just like our body defense system, as our body is attacked by viruses, our body will build up the defense system to kill all the viruses which have entered into our body, we get immune to that virus after that, our immune system becomes stronger after that. Hardships in life work the same, we go through the storms, we passed through it, and next time when we face the same storm, we know how to go through it again. ‘What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!’

            Just like recently I get too much of scolding from one of my ridiculous lecturer in college, he is a known lecturer who just scolds people without any reason. Nowadays, I don’t get upset anymore after his scolding because I’m immune to it already, I just treated it as a music that comes and goes away.

            Life is short. Hence be merry and live everyday meaningfully and happily. Don’t let that one person out of 7 billion people ruin your day. It’s not worth it. =)
