Farewell Alma Mater 2007, 12th Nov @ Meritus Mandarin Hotel. Slightly overrated me thinks, the food wasnt worth $60 at all. Maybe $50 out of the $60 went to the booking of the ballroom. Nonetheless, still enjoyed myself. Its like wow when you reach Meritus Mandarin Level 4, people were screaming and photowhoring everywhere. Performances were hilarious, loved Valerie's and Grace Zhang's! Zz Valerie is the funniest person I know man haha. Earlier in the day went to a hair studio that my mum frequents to do makeup and hair. Sad that my makeup was slightly too white on photos, like blue eyeshadow + red lips + white face = geisha gone wrong. But still quite happy overall, and much thanks to my GREAT mum! (: So photowhored most of the time for last memories, and everyone looked wonderzful!

That's all for the moment. Jiayouing for my Liuqin exam! 30th Nov, 4.30pm. Best timing I can get already so yay. (: & Theory exam is this Sunday, scaryscary! Good luck to all taking theory and practical. Am having lessons 2 times a week now, hopefully its enough to pwn my pieces!
& Tomorrow will be giving out flyers + Day after tomorrow Stardust and dinner with Huiwen!

Had some last minute changes to plans. Initially, my grandparents from canada are coming over to Singapore after dropping by Hongkong for eldest cousin's wedding (she's super chio!!), and Malaysia to visit some other relatives. But now, my mum and I will be going over to Malaysia instead from Wednesday to Saturday to visit my grandparents. So I have to change my liuqin lesson to Saturday and its not confirmed yet. ): And very sorry to Nina, I cannot teach you the ps stuff on Thursday. ): And also sorry to Huiwen, cannot shop with you for the rest of prom stuff. ):

Monday went out with Huiwen, and highlight was dinner I think! Went from heeren to bugis, and had swensens for dinner. & because Huiwen had her card + coupons, my pasta and her bake rice are both FREE! (Hail to free delicious food!) Plus we had complimentary drinks (Hail to free drinks too!). Ordered another plate of mussels, droolohdrool. Thanks Huiwen for her coupons. (: & I still have the chippy craving.

Pretty random post, cant wait to be back from Msia!

Much has happened the past few days. O levels Higher Chinese, Farewell Assembly, LYFE Farewell, RGCO Farewell and Animal Stampede being the main events. Nov 2nd, Farewell Assembly. Till then, for going indepth.

Last day of tuition yesterday. (Okay but before tuition I went to school to visit Tanbo, just that I didnt know it ended at 4 today! Assumed it would end at 5.30 as per usual. In the end chatted with guanyue and xianyue people. (& meddled around with Yubo's thousand-dollar erhu! haaaa.))

He sings with such emotions in his voice and his eyes, I feel like I am being drawed into his world. The flick of his head, the intensity of his eye contact, with that melodious voice..really, just wow. Even at 8, he oozes outright charisma, and speaks the story of the song through those fierce, demanding eyes. At 16, there's this more reserved gentlemanly feeling. The slurring of each word coupled with those facial expressions and the flow of emotions; pure captivation.

Beautiful. Sigh.

Tomorrow will be last day of intensive lessons, and also the last day of Chinese tuition in my life (since wont be going on Sat). I think I will miss the intensive lessons, it was really super funny and enjoyable. Lessons filled with laughter everyday thanks to the weird antics by the guys. Maybe more elaboration tomorrow.

Currently distracted by Declan. & I am supposed to sleep haha

These days having lack of sleep, I think my eyebags became bigger than my eyes again. Saturday and Sunday still had to wake up at 6.30am for animal stampede and theory lessons respectively. Everyday's like coffee coffee coffee to pull through. (Too bad coffee doesnt reduce eyebags!) & School ends so late that I end up stuffing sushi down my throat for dinner 15 minutes before tuition class. But HURRAY, options finally over today! Was quite a torture doing all those assignments (YAY for our entre presentation though!!! We pulled through hurray! & Yay for shining essay because Sandra and I managed to crap it out together hoho! I think working with Sandra is really cool, kinda alike in our working style.)

Final farewell to LYFE on Nov 1st (not 100% confirmed though), final farewell to CO on 2nd Nov, and also final farewell to RGS on 2nd Nov. Must prepare presents already. Things are coming to an end, while another beginning awaits.

Anyway, happy that slavery presentation over, philo assessment over, business plan done after this night and entre presentation done on Monday. After that will be BLM presentation and brochure making. + brushing up on liuqin. Theory lessons starting this Sunday. Happy that CO pracs are going to resume next week, so that we can go visit! (: Havent been seeing how juniors are doing eh! Happy that school is quite enjoyable (PE= skipping rope for laughs hehe! Miss playing golf though!) and alot of laughing involved, feels very relaxing. (: (Like how we were amused at Stella's surname being BEE, while her chinese surname being MA (horse). + Xiaodi's quite gross primary school friend who goes up to the top of the school and starts dripping saliva down at however who walks past. + how Nicole T. looks like a mouse, while Sandra looks like a pig while I look like an insect. -.- & alot of other things. I will miss my slavery group! It was really enjoyable :D)

& Thanks to Mr Jeremy for the pizza, like everyone in my group ate 3 pieces cept nicole t. and nicole s. to finish the 2 big boxes! Had a nice chat regarding the US education system, and received a book recommendation. Shall go dig it up in the library soon. (: Abnormal psychology, yes.



Off to do environmental biology. (:
(EDIT: For people interested in Wildlife Stampede, there will be a costume making workshop this SATURDAY 20th OCT 8.30am to 12 noon at the ART ROOM. The actual stampede will be on 2nd Nov 4pm to 7pm at Botanical Gardens, you can either dress up (as Banded Leaf Monkey!) or just attend the event with your family and friends! DO COME!!!)
