You know where you are, your in the jungle baby

Second only to "I am a Child of God" is Callin's favorite song to sing "Welcome to the Jungle." Nice combination huh! Even Axle would take a second look if he heard him singing.

Who Done IT?

Tis' a great mystery who infected my dear son.
We'd gone to the farm but once we were done,
To the doctor we ran
Although this wasn't the plan.

His little body was covered from head to toe,
A nasty rash we saw, but who was the foe?
It lasted for days, while he went commando,
Mom didn't want him itchy no moe.

Could it be the cow, no that was Davin he licked,
Maybe the Lama's cousin,
Or that scary turkey, he looked sicked.
Could it be the pony, he spoke so gently to?

No, I think it was that nasty, stinky goat that smelled worse than poo!!

The cutest baby cow.
The milking cow.
Actually the doctor thought it was maybe from the lawn. He thinks it's likely they had just fertilized that morning and Callin was allergic to one of the components. Who knows?!

WARNING: This poem is not for the weak stomached or faint of heart and maybe the word "poem" is even a stretch.

The Firsts

Wylie on his first day of First grade!!! He was so excited to each lunch at school and have two recesses--But the first day was even better than that because he got 3 recesses (a boy threw up-to bad for him, great for the rest)!

The walking crew
For the first month of taking Wylie to kindergarten last year, Callin would wear his backpack in hopes he would get to stay. We decided we should sign him up for preschool at 3 so he would have something to break up the time while Wylie was gone all day. He was super pumped and when he was done he kept asking Davin what he did all day while he was at school.

The Meat Eater Fish

So here's the story, we took the boys fishing Saturday and boy did they have a blast. Wylie insisting on bringing this bucket (the snail's old house--yes, there gonners) with us so we could put the fish it it and he kept asking if the fish were meat eaters. We thought it was kind of a strange question but told him they were. This is the reason he wanted to know . . .
Our first victim.
Wylie wanted to watch the fish eat the worm he caught. See the worm at the bottom of the bucket and a fairly traumatized fish.
Will he eat the worm. Callin gets board and starts throwing dirt in the bucket. Finally mom and dad had sympathy on the fish and set him free. So the result of Wylie's experiment is, if you catch a fish he'll probably be to traumatized to eat--at least ours was--or your pesty brother will interrupt the experiment.
