hello summer!

I am so happy to say that it is finally the perfect weather in Flagstaff and we are soo looking forward to this summer! Don't get me wrong, the winter was fun for awhile and puts you in the holiday spirit, but NOT when it randomly keeps snowing till May and you're dreaming about outdoor activities and summer time! :-/ The temp is between 70-80's right now, and its beautiful outside! Poor Brandon is back in school again for the summer but he did have a nice little break for a few weeks (mostly playing music non-stop!). He is super excited to graduate at NAU DECEMBER 17TH! Woohoo! Anyone want to come to his graduation and also come play in the snow ? :-) Sorry we can fit you all in our 1 bedroom apartment though haha. But there are some nice hotels or cabins close by!

Not much is new with me. Just anxious to do an internship soon so I can finally get my Registered Dietitian credential. I'm applying to internships again this fall and I'll find out in Nov. I'm applying to one in Phx, AZ, Madison, WI, and Houston, TX. Its super competitive to get into one mostly because the # of students in this field has doubled in the past 2 years and the # of internships spots remains the same. If I don't get into one I have no clue what to do next! Either try again? Or go another direction? Go to Grad school? Its so frustrating not knowing what you will be doing with your life after working so hard for your degree but then again its kind of exciting! I know it will all work out in the end. I'll be doing what I was meant to do. Brandon and I are pretty flexible as to what we will do and where to go so we'll see!

Last weekend we took a mini vaca to Pinetop where my parents were selling in a art show. We helped them sell and stayed in a friends cabin in Heber which was pretty fun too. Next time we need to find the hookups for ATVs or a boat though ;-)

Happenings

Well I finally sat myself down to blog again! I don't know what to put up right now so it will be random happenings in the past year but I'll put up cooler things later :-)

Happy 24th birthday to Brandon a week and half ago!! :-) My mom and I got him his own guitar and I have not heard him stop playing since!

We helped my parents sell in an art show last weekend in Prescott. My mom was selling her jewelry and my dad just started selling these picture frames for this lady. Lucky their booths were next to each other. Brandon was quite the salesman selling earrings to some ladies too :-)

Tis' the Season, Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra Ra!

Our first big storm hit today! It started real early and has not stopped once all day/night long. It is so pretty and peaceful, I love it! Except for the driving part! I held my breath the entire time going to and from work. The main roads weren't so bad, but my work is up towards Snow Bowl in the mountains so that was kinda scary! The schools here get a snow day today and tomorrow, and Brandon might have work off. Lucky! Anyone who wants to come sledding, our backyard has some great hills! ;-)

Thanksgiving Week

Some happenings from Thanksgiving Week...
Didn't actually take any on Thanksgiving but it was a good day! And with the Jensen's that weekend too. The remainder of the weekend was spent helping my parents move to Fountain Hills.

Chandler Mall at MIDNIGHT before Black Friday! I went with some friends just to see what the big deal was all about. There were sales in most stores, but nothing too amazing. It was just all the shopping hype, but it was fun! Before opening there were hundred of people outside all the entrances. The lines were way to long to want to even wait in them! Within 5 minutes of opening there were lines! People had it planned out what they wanted, then got it fast and went in another line in the middle of the mall to get a free $50 giftcard if they spent $100 shopping that night. Crazy people! :-)
