step on a landmine...in a good way...

Every morning I jump out of bed and step on a landmine. The landmine is me.After the explosion, I spent the rest of the day putting the pieces together.

RIP Ray Bradbury. Thank you for writing and for inspiring. Thank you for creating wonderful stories and images that will last centuries past even my own time. You have changed the world with your words, just as you set out to do.

against the wind

I've been doing some spring cleaning while living at home. I found this last night in a box labeled "souvenirs".





I love it.

I also found a letter I wrote to myself at 25. That was hilarious. But my 18 year old self wished my 25 year old self would have traveled too. I've scratched the surface of my adventures, but I'm glad I made my former me happy :)

the people for me



But I realized this tonight. I need mad moments, mad people, MADNESS to survive.

Without the awwww. With the grin, the smile, the feeling of having gone completely mad inside, that feeling of bliss. That makes your heart smile and your soul sing. That madness.
