The things that change you.

So, despite the last post, we did not move to Mesquite.  We moved to St. George.  We love it here.  We love swimming and catching lizards, discovering all the parks and hikes, and fun places and things here.  We miss our families, but love our adventure.  A first year teacher's salary is a little rough on the stay-at-home mom, but we are doing our best to make it work.  And so far, we have been very  blessed.    This morning as we walked the kids to school, my friend and I were discussing things that are important.  It's crazy, that moment, when you realize that the things that seemed important for so long have shifted.  Now other things are at the top of our priorities and those things that we thought were important seem insignificant.  It's a GOOD moment when you realize you are changing and growing and coming closer to knowing a loving Heavenly Father who has a plan just for you.

Moving Forward......

Well,  Nate is a college grad! It's exciting, and scary.  We have been blessed for him to find summer work til the fall school year.  We are excited (and nervous) to start our new adventure.  We will be moving to Mesquite, Nevada!  Nate will be teaching at Beaver Dam High School in Beaver Dam, AZ. Yep, that tiny town you see when you come out of the canyon from St. George and right before you get to Mesquite......  He will be teaching Health and PE, coaching boys baseball and girls basketball, and will be the math tutor.  Visitors are welcome... and required......  Wish us luck!!

Throwing it out there.

This is my newest little dude.  He is actually 4 months old now and looks nothing like this anymore.  He is such a sweet boy.  We can't get enough of him.  After he was born, life seemed chaotic for a while and now it just seems crazy.  3 kids is a handful.  I LOVE them, don't get me wrong, BUT I feel like I am floating above me watching my chaotic life stay chaotic and get more and more unorganized.  My husband just GRADUATED from UVU and is looking for a job.  I am so proud of him!  It is also super stressful to live with three kids in a tiny apartment.  Especially when one of your kids is Matthew.  Love him and have reached a new level of crazy/exhausted/disappointed, etc.  Exercise is crucial right now.  It is absolutely necessary even if it means that the boys watch a movie every morning....NECESSARY.  Ideas for entertaining extremely energetic boys are welcome:)
