Maddy's 6th Birthday

 We had a very Frozen birthday for Maddy this year. She had 9 of her little friends over the day before her birthday for a party and it was a bit chaotic but a lot of fun.

 

The party wore Ellie out

 

 Her face made it worth it for me to drive all over Utah in order to find her Elsa and Anna barbies.

 

 Her birthday was on a Sunday so we took a walk to the park and she showed us her skills on the monkey bars

 Our mischievous little Ellie wanted some attention too

 We did a big cake the day before at her party so we just did a little cookie cake on the actual day. She just loved any excuse for us to sing to her

March 2014

 Taking pictures of her has become an adventure. As soon as she sees the camera she crawls for it as fast as she can. 

 Climbing stairs is one of her favorite things. The highest she has gotten is to step 10 before we caught her. We have to constantly monitor where she is because she thinks she is so funny when she makes a run for the steps.

 Maddy learned to ride her bike without training wheels. She wants to go riding every single day. We were amazed how quickly she caught on and did not stop.

The Month of February In the Life of Ellie

Ellie learned to crawl

 She started eating more solid food

 The snow finally melted but we enjoyed a couple more time sledding before it did

 She got lots of kisses on Valentines Day

 We had to move the crib down because she now stands up and waits for us to get her

Ellie also got 4 teeth in February for a grand total of 6 and is still the love of our lives.

My Favorite Things

 

The weather has turned cold and snowy here in Utah so we have been stuck inside most days. We are counting down the days until Christmas and loving every minute with our Ellie.

 For the ward Halloween party we dyed Maddy's hair red- it was a huge mistake and got all over everything. She liked it but I have learned my lesson.

 Scott wanted nothing to do with the pumpkin. It was "yucky"

We went trick or treating for an hour and they each got over 70 pieces of candy. By the end they were both exhausted and I had to carry Scott and drag Maddy along behind. But they had a great time.
