How far along: 39 Weeks 5 days
Total weight gain/loss: No comment, but I did not gain this week
Maternity clothes: Duh!
Sleep: I found that I have been sleeping better if I stay up a little later.
Best moment this week: Knowing that I am going to meet Brandon in a few days whether he likes it or not.
Movement: He goes crazy for apples.
Food cravings: None
Gender: Boy.
Labor Signs: Some BH contractions, but nothing that serious.
Belly Button in or out: Out, and it is sore.
What I miss: I will change this question to what I will miss- Having Brandon all to myself. Once he is an outside baby I am going to have to share and I will miss his little kicks and punches.
What I am looking forward to: Having a baby in the next few days.
I had my last scheduled appointment today. We will be heading to the hospital on Monday to start an induction at 5 am. That is, if Brandon does not decided to come before then. I think that we are as ready as we can be at this point. And if not, we will just make it work! We are so excited.

38 Weeks
How far along: 38 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I am going to go with gain.
Maternity clothes: Yes, and some are too short/tight now.
Sleep: Depends, some nights are great and some I am up at 3am.
Best moment this week: Getting some of Brandon's cloth diapers.
Movement: Some days he is quiet and some days he is a wild man!
Food cravings: Still disappointed that I did not have any crazy cravings with this pregnancy. I guess there is still time though.
Gender: Boy!
Labor Signs: Nothing substantial.
Belly Button in or out: Well after weeks of my belly button being confused, it has decided that it would like to see the outside world and has "popped".
What I miss: My ankles and non-sausage toes :)
What I am looking forward to: Meeting Brandon, I can not wait to see what he looks like!!!!

Baby's now the size of a honeydew!
Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds. Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

A different kind of Belly shot
Here is a video that I was finally able to capture. Every time Brandon would be moving around and I would turn the camera on, he would stop. He also does this when I call Greg over to see what he is doing. But not today!! I whispered to Greg to get me the camera and Brandon did not stop moving, so I had hope. Well sure enough I caught it on "tape".

33 Weeks and Middle Name Crisis
I am not feeling the middle name Thomas right now. We are in the process of discussing other options. I will keep you posted.
How far along: 33 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: Why did I ever put this question on my weekly updates... close to 40 pounds eekkk
Maternity clothes: Duh, unless I want to go with an exposed midriff and I could probably not get my old pants up past my knees.
Sleep: Lets just say my body must be getting ready for a night owl baby.
Best moment this week: Girl scout cookies and picking up more baby items.
Movement: Brandon has been moving a lot lately. Even some slow dragging movements that make my belly look like there is an alien in there. I would try to get it on video, but he stops when I call Greg or if I move.
Food cravings: Nothing
Gender: Boy.
Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out: Still hanging in there.
What I miss: My hips not hurting
What I am looking forward to: 35/35 and Brandon being full term at 37 weeks.
Picture to come soon. I am going to get a haircut today or tomorrow so it will show the new 'do.

Sleep: It has been pretty okay this week.
Best moment this week: Making more baby purchases and nesting/organizing. I woke up Saturday and just had to go to Walmart to buy baskets for under the changing table. And I went through all of the closets to toss/organize stuff. It was quite productive!

What I am looking forward to: New Years, 2010 is going to be a great year!
This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.
