Feburary 2021 365 photo challenge

I love plants. I kill plants, not on purpose but I do kill them. sometimes one survives all odds and does well in my house. I have 4 that are survivors. this one needs to be repotted in a bigger pot but I am so afraid to kill it. I just enjoy it and ignore the pot situation

this dog is weird. my family tells me I made him weird but I think he came weird. Maybe it's like my daughter said I just made him comfortable in his weirdness. I've always kinda had weird animals but he is a special case. he's cute though

happy birthday to my 17 year old. he actually let me take the annual birthday photo without much complaint this year.
This kid amazes me every day. It seems like he is liked by everybody. He's funny and helpful. he oh so smart it blows my mind sometimes. I wish he would believe it and not think it's just mom goggles.
wanna know something scary next year he can get drunk and go to school the next day.....hopefully he won't

A cell phone photo today, not bad for only my second one since starting but come on look at that face . Plus that's a pretty impressive job i did on the hair.

today is the start of the first real cold snap of the season. my windows always create ice art when the temperature hits those really low numbers. my window is also really dirty haha

I've always had a dream that I would teach women and young girls to use power tools. I was in the process of figuring out a way to do it before covid hit but that stopped me. I think it really important for everybody to know how to use tools for small jobs. these days it seem like less and less people know how to do even just basic things

I want to be a cat in my next life....oh to be able to sleep all day and be a jerk but for some reason still get taken cared of on your own terms.

Pretty nasty cold snap here ....star usually handles it well but I don't know of it because she's 27 now but she us not handling this One well....i"ve been building a walk of hay to keep her warm

I'm a messy builder. it always looks like a boom blew up when I create projects. I'm always losing everything too because of it.
I have 3 tape measures and I never know when any of them are while I need them

This one is my problem child. he's a brat who bends all the rules, not enough to get punished but just enough that you give up on discipline. It's a good thing he is cute !!!

My ugly porcupine fish, hanging in my bathroom mirror.
He may be ugly but he brings me joy. When I was younger my grandparent had a cottage in Rexton. we would spend the whole summer there, it truly was a happy place. I have so many fond memories of the cottage.

There was a similar fish hanging under the stairs, I was so proud of that fish I would show everybody the never came to the cottage before, the amazing fish under the stairs as only kids can do.

When we moved to GC, one of my mom's houses had this fish in the basement. It's been a source of joy ever since as it brings back fond memories every time I see it.
and yes my kids put googly eyes on it

This little old grumpy fart that lives under my TV is the coolest thing ever. he loves watching tv, is addicted to sugar and has a severe case of OCD. He has the funniest personality of all my pets. and he doesn't look too bad for a geriatric bunny
I always thought when he died I would get another one but I recently join a bunny page on FB and apparently he's special cause he is not an asshole, has never destroyed anything, he does not chew on spicy hay ( wires), drywall or baseboards.

every day, twice a day I see these faces waiting for cookies.... I can go to the barn 20 times a day but yet they know when it's cookie time

Saturday is our usual restaurant day for my family. Covid made us have take-out instead, I don't like it.....food doesn't taste the same we don't seem to talk as much. lately, I'm really struggling with just missing things like this

I never had a dog that liked toys, my parents did when I was younger but never me. All my dogs enjoyed treats but stuffies. actual toys with no food involved they ignored even when I bought them.

Fast forward to Finnigan. the first day he came home we called him a dragon slayer because he destroyed a dragon stuffie that didn't belong to him. At 4 years old he still leaves a trail of destruction behind him

We always joke that there a ghost in our house that likes to blow out lightbulb. I probably buy 4 to 6 lightbulbs a week. I stopped buying the expensive ones because of it. It's random and annoying

This is one of my favorite things about my house. I'm always cold, even in the summer. it does a good job of keeping me semi-warm although I still sometimes wear 2 sweatshirts anyways. Plus the smell is divine

I paint at night, lots of people wonder how I do so much in a day. a lot of it is at night. I do the noisy tool stuff during the day but I do the quiet stuff like painting and adding images at night

for those that want to learn more about photography a 365 is by far the bet tool to learn...... and it's easy take a photo a day that is it

ok this will be a challenge all to itself. This lens is a bit of a challenge for me it's useful for what I bought it for (weddings) but I never fully figured out how to use it . So I'm putting it on my camera for a month to see if I can learn to wield its power lol

It's one of my favourite things ever when these things come out.
I lost 60 pounds while eating one of these a day. they kept me on track and I will forever be grateful for these little eggs

ok, this was a struggle. I had an idea it failed.....I had another idea it failed too. So I decided to do something easy and just shoot the bunny. Well, Finn was having none of that, the jealous boy he is .....so I give up...... this is my best shot

Phones... I love them and hate them at the same time. they can be so useful but I feel they also prevent real relationships to fully develop sometimes. I'm guilty of this also

I haven't been able to read for about the last 3 years. Those that know me, know I used to always have my nose in a book. One of my friends on FB posted their 2020 reading list and the jealousy that washed over me surprised me. I decided to try audiobooks another go, I'm on book number 3 and I'm learning to enjoy it somewhat. I am really enjoying thinking about stories again.

I've been studying and working on my website and solution to my order problem ALL DAY. I found a solution but it required way more work than I was planning on. I still have a ways to go but I'm really happy with my progress ......on a side note I was not meant to be an office person my body hurts more than hiking mountains

I've been a dog groomer for 26 years now. Truthfully I've never worked much at jobs that I wasn't my own boss. It's not fancy but Its been a good job for me. I get to stay in my house, set my own schedules and be there for my family.

I'm not a morning person. that's no secret. I don't make an appointment early unless I absolutely have to. but in winter I get to see sunrise which I find fascinating.

Not the most interesting photo but in a way it means a lot to me. I'm making rice for my elderly dog. so she won't have an upset stomach on her last days

I'm still in awe that I make money painting. I'm a late night person, I prefer working at night, I have more energy at night. so I do all the noisy stuff in the afternoon after my dogs and do my painting and other quiet stuff at night

This horse of many names, I credit very often to saving me. I was in a pretty severe depression before he was in my life. Marc suggested I get another horse even if he doesn't like them. As all depressed people do, I said it wouldn't help but it did leave the idea in my head. and soon I was shopping and looking around. It took a few years to take the plunge to be a horse owner again after 6 years or so but as usual, Marc was right ( don't tell him that ). This goofy beast is such an important part of my daily life even if he costs a fortune and is a whole lot of work.

his year we will have had 10 years of friendship, of me loving him and him keeping me on my toe by running away.

almost missed today. it was a busy day .....I got my hair did and feel like a new woman. (for those wondering I'm going full Michelle visage)
Anyway, when you do a 365 there will be days where close to midnight you will be looking for anything to shoot anything at all. SHOOT anyways!!!!! yes, my Christmas tree soon to be valentines day tree is still up and old baby cat is always a willing subject. The narcissist he is.

My daily walk with my dogs . I promised Cinderella I'd take her hiking everyday till she couldn't go anymore. This weekend we had a scare that we were losing her. I honestly didn't believe she was going to last the night and stayed up with her all night. Next day she was still shaky. But by Tuesday she was back to normal .

This spawn of mine is so much like me it's sometimes scary. he is a night owl like me and I have to fight with him to go to bed most nights. He is also giving me the stink eye because I got my camera out

haha so the theme this month was supposed to be dark food and I only did day one .....oh well
I had a vision for this one that failed miserably, I ended up with a shot I was happy with but maybe tomorrow I will tackle it again

I've been eating 2 over-easy eggs every morning for as long as I can remember. I get grouchy if I don't have my eggs.

I didn't expect to write a little story for each but this will be fun in my memories in years to come.

This is a source of frustration with my family, they leave garbage everywhere, I join in at times but I'm the one that cleans up sooo that ok right ????
