BLUE #2

We had our first major crisis... the loss of "BIG BLUE," Jobi's paci. Luckily, Daddy had bought more and so we had a backup. "Big Blue" is lost somewhere at Nana and Papa's house. They're still desperately trying to find it. Until then... I think we're safe with "Blue #2."

Daddy's Valentine

Tuesday evening, Jobi got an early Valentine. Chris went shopping at Target and came home with the cutest "wee bands" and the tiniest crocs we've ever seen! LOVE it! (although I specifically remember my husband saying he didn't want his son wearing crocs... I guess these were just too cute to pass up!) :-)

He's a sport now, sure enough!!

Dr. Seuss pays a visit

When Chris goes shopping, he's worse than a girl! He is always finding good "happies" for Jobi. Earlier this week he scored some great Dr. Seuss classics and the stuffed animals to go along with them. We were excited especially to get "Hop on Pop" (in honor of Mr. Richard) :-) and also "Yertle the Turtle." If you know us... you know we're a turtle family!

Jobi's First Church Service

Well, we had been out of church for some time since Jobi's birth. We were instructed by the doc NOT to take him until after he had had his shots so we have been very cautious taking him out to very populated places (especially places with lots of other little kiddos). This past Sunday was his first time to go. We didn't take him to nursery, though yet. He stayed with us the whole time - Sunday School and worship. He did GREAT! (whew!) We'll see how he does this Sunday. We're going to take him to the nursery for the first hour and then pick him up to go to worship service with us.

He looked so cute in his first little church outfit!! I just love dressing him up :-)

All that preaching wore him out! Sorry I didn't get a picture of him while he was awake.

Super Bowl

Super Bowl Sunday we were able to go to our bestest friends, Karla and Lance LeFan's house. Karla and I were pregnant at the same time. She gave birth to boy/girl twins Nov. 8th. We had not had a chance to get the babies together so we were about to start having withdrawals! It was so GREAT for us to be able to hang out with them and for Jobi to meet his 2 new little buddies, Jacob and Kerrigan! We look forward to many more years of fun to come.
