BYU Game

 

My family is important to me!  It was so fun to take a weekend away as a family. We stopped in Rexburg to grab Jaden and headed down to Utah. The BYU Football game was a blast and the Cougar Tails were delicious. I know as my kids get older and start leaving the house, that eventually we won’t be able to do as many trips together.  So I EAT this up.  I’m so grateful that my kids have a strong relationship with each other.  It is so fun to watch them grow into little humans and then big humans.  They make me laugh and I love every minute I am with them!  

Trip to the ER

Poor Colter had a rough night last night. We had gotten back late from football practice and everyone was throwing in some dinner before bed. Colter reached for his cup and tumbled off of the stool. Unfortunately, he grabbed his glass on the way down and as it hit the floor it shattered in his hand. There was so much blood we weren't sure where it was coming from at first. When we looked a little closer we could see that he had almost severed the top of his left ring finger. We grabbed a handful of paper towels and ran out the door leaving the other three at home. We called Grandma Jones who made a quick response to be with the boys. She told us that before she had gotten there the three boys had said a prayer for Colter. Love those sweet boys!

Loooong story short, little buddy ended up with 7 stitches in one finger and several steri strips on another. He was such a trooper. He cried when they gave him the shots but waited quietly as the Dr. stitched up his tiny little finger. (I only cried a little too). He walked away with a big white bandage and a well deserved blue Popsicle.

Okay, we have lived here for 2 years now. I guess it's time to admit, we don't live in Florida anymore. We really, really miss Florida. Having lived in 6 different states (since we were married) it is nice to say that we have loved them all, and there are some great things about living in Montana......

They don't call it Big Sky Country for nothing!

Family Humor

T- It was not a great day today. Me- Oh no, what happened T- I do not like crushes. I won’t like crushes until I’m a teenager. Me- oh ya ? T- Daylin has a crush on me and I don’t like it. Me- I thought you liked Daylin. Isn’t she your friend? T- Yes, but I like her like 90%. Best Friends are 100%. Love is 1000%, and crushes are 1000000%.

F-15 Eagle Jet

We had an awesome opportunity last week. The Vice Commander of the 33rd fighter wing gave us a personal tour of a F-15 Eagle Jet. The boys were in heaven! What a great experience.

Celebrating 10 years!!!!

Laighton and I have been married ten years today!

Happy Anniversary Love!

Life has taken us on an adventurous ride and we have been enjoying every minute (well, most of the minutes). Here are a few things that we have been up to lately.

Colter is 4 1/2 months now. What a good little baby!!!

Kaelor on the tag-a-long!

Jaden took a few minutes to find the right size tool to put the training wheels back on his old bike for Kaelor. He did a good job too, they were on really tight.

Our back yard is literally a forest. The boys spend hours out there everyday building forts, discovering lizards, frogs, turtles, and some not so friendly bugs.

Trevin's last game was Friday. He had an awesome season playing third base. He averaged 2 runs a game and had several good outs at third.

Overall, life is good.
