hey! I miss my family so much this week it's just silly. thank you for the little ways you all keep in touch. and what are the chances of moving the family headquarters to someplace more palatable (California? Oregon?).

and it's funny how something so little could end up dictating my whole career. When you're little and you want to save the world you don't realize that your ability to change anything will be pared down to what you can fit in a wheelbarrow and you'll run around trying to knock people in and you'll be lucky and happy to catch some flying spectacles.

vegans eat NUTS

Hey yo, it's been a nuts week: started with my Jew & ended with cadavers.

The vegan thing is pretty cool. I don't really understand how it can last for too long but my body's totally into it--I feel agile clean light, good really. After 4 days of almost vegan perfection I really felt like I was reaching some kind of higher plane or something--then the Jew had to take me out for buffalo wings and icecream!!!! Ha ha very funny. The next day my BFF said if I could break vegan for a guy I could break it for her and we ate pizza.
So I worked non-stop the first half of this week and then was on some kind of social knee-high for the rest--pretty much out and about with folks every night, culminating in tonite's midnight excursion to the "Body Worlds" cadaver exhibit. It was AWESOME! I love the human body so much I've got to say it makes my world go round. give me a nice dissection, a couple cross sections, throw in an anomaly or two--I turn into a shameless geek! Seriously they should have let me give tours: everyone was leaning in to hear our conversations, turning down their lame hand held tourguide things
This week:
continue to chase the allusive 8 minute mile
make some new years resolutions (can I still do that?)

well supposedly I am trying out the new year vegan, but I just ate a chocolate chip cookie and only realized a moment afterwards what I had done. oh well it was organic so maybe that's not quite as bad??
happy new years again--I am sitting at the Kitterman's tonite--Wilbur the cat keeps eyeing me lustily! ha ha I cut off my bangs--they were getting so high maintenance I was started to feel silly. the funny thing is I was with Ray (my cousin who lives near Boston) and his family and his 4 year old Alora just recently took scissors to her own bangs. one night brushing our teeth she looked up at me and said "your hair is weird" that's when I suddenly realized that we have the same haircut only her excuse is she's 4. what's mine. I think I'm in love with a big fat Jewish man-Kristia will be so happy all her dreams for me can come true.
