deep in the heart of Texas!
so, we recently went to Texas and had a pretty good time. the weather was beautiful and we got to check out the campus at the University of Texas at Arlington. in the photos you can see that the streetlights took some getting used to and that rachel is pretty excited about the possibility of being a Maverick again. the last photo we took when we were looking for some good Mexican food and found the sign on the back of a Texaco gas station store...
While on our little trip, rachel was in heaven because she realized how much she has missed eating good strawberries with chocolate, and we spent some time at the batting cages.

On the morning before we left, we decided to go by the stadium for the Texas Rangers and do a tour. We ended up touring the stadium with a church group of the nicest, cutest seniors. The pace of the tour was a little slow, but we had a pretty good time.
