Family!

January- A fast version!

I was blog hopping so I decided...Since I'm here I might as well post something. SO here we are. I can't believe our first month of 2011 has come and gone sooooo dang fast. Here are some of the things we have done.

First week- we came home from our New Year trip to Utah, I was in SL and Hubby was hunting. Baby "O" Started full on crawling and not just army crawling like she had been doing in the past. Which was exciting but also sad that she's getting sooo big!
Hubby also had an interview at UNLV that week, That is a prospect for dental school.

Second Week- Baby "O" had her 9 month check up and she is doing great she is 15lbs 8oz and you would think that's tiny right....Well her big sister was 13 lbs at this age! So baby sis is a big girl! She is at least on the charts 25th percentile in weight, 50th in height and 75th in Head circumference. She's getting so big and has an attitude already! Hubby and I talked in Church, it was quite the experience with two kids, we took turns taking care of the girls and going up to talk.

Third Week- Hubby starts some pre-requs, so therefore he's no longer at home 24/7. Which I think he and I enjoy that a bit! while he started school, The Girls and I had a rode trip to AZ to hang out with our awesome friends there, we had a fun filled week. Big sis, enjoyed dressing up, playing barbies, laughing, crying, whining, figthing, swinging, playing with rocks, playing with dogs etc...Little sister just crawled around trying to get in on the action with her sis and to stay out of the way of any canines trying to lick her face! She also started pulling herself up, to standing and trying to cruise around furniture. I'm telling you, she's growing way too fast...Plus we also got to hang out with family,It was fun going on a double date with my Hubby's brother and sis in law! The girls enjoyed their family time with the cousins. Thank you AZ friends and family for having us over, we had a blast and already miss the warmth and the friendly faces.

Fourth Week- Hubby has his interview at Midwestern, We drive back home and get stuck in traffice forever due to an accident. My little brother turns 16 which is still a shocker to me, I'm getting old! little sis learns how to drink from a straw! It was hilarious to watch! I get a new calling in church. Gabby has her AZ friends over, well she pretends that they are here, this is on eof the quotes for this week; G: "Mom, Sandy is in my toy room, and she needs help." Me: really why? G:"The boys are trying to kiss her." I think she's watched too many princess movies lately! then last but not least, to end my week with a girls night, It was hilarious I felt like I was in college again, I came home around 2:45am. Crazy right! some ladies and I decided to go dancing at this free concert here in town called "Zowie Bowie" the show started at 11 we had fun with the pre-show music etc... we danced ... the band played then people started getting a little crazy sooo we decided it was time to go. mind you it was 11:30 so we married LDS girls went to a SONIC drive thru and sat and talked the rest of the night! It was awesome. I needed that! Thank you my Vegas buddies We've made some great memories!hahah. Hubby also had a late night playing his game on his 360. So since both hubby and I had late nights on friday we slept in only to find Big sis reading quietly to her baby sister on Sat. morning Baby sis was standing in her crib while big sis was sitting in the rocking chair reading the book aloud to her. It was a tender moment, I wish I would have captured that one in photos!

Well That is our January in a short post! Hope yours was just as eventful as ours!

This one is for my Baby Girl

I cannot believe my baby is almost 8 months old!!!! Time flies, She is such a sweet girl she is always smiling. She loves to eat which is very rare since her sister does NOT. This little girl brings a smile to our face every day, she's learning to crawl which is funny because she scoots her self all over the place. We have hard wood floor throughout and it's easy for her scoot, She tries to army crawl but really uses her hands to grip the floor.
She has discovered clapping and she rocks when music is played. She loves her big sister and you can tell she wants to play like her. She is definitely a Mommy's girl, she loves dad but she'll always come to momma and makes sure that I'm at her sight. She's a lot more clingy than big sis ever was, she has been getting more accustomed to strangers.
She has been doing this funny thing when she sleeps; she puts her legs through her crib railings,I go there and fix it but when I come back to check on her it's the same way again. I can't imagine it being comfortable. I love her to pieces even at 4 in the morning when she wakes up...every night for her morning bottle!!! (yes she still wakes up) Ahhh I long for my 8 hours of sleep!! She loves baths and splashing water everywhere. Anyway at her last Dr. appt. she was 15 lbs which is 10lbs less than her older sister is at the present moment! She has been eating baby food and formula, I had to stop breastfeeding since m skim milk was not helping with the weight gain. I just have to accept that my babies will always be small and that I need to supplement.

I just wanted to give a little shout out to my Big Girl. My little girl who makes us laugh, who is our personal Taylor Swift (you should hear her sing) and dance. She is my helper, my buddy, my "Princesa" as she calls me.

Her recent quotes have been; "Mom you should go do that, or something..." she has been adding "or something" to her sentences for some reason it's quite funny, but it's not "or something" it's "or sumefin" so cute I love it! She is into princesses so everyday, when she plays with food or dress ups etc... she is always getting something ready for the "ball" she asks me "Are you getting ready for the ball" She is also quite the singer and dancer, put some music on like Taylor Swift or Enchanted soundtrack and you can hear her a mile away while shaking her bottom. Another thing that is very funny is that every time we are getting ready to leave the house she always goes hunting for her purse, lipgloss, cell phone and keys...did she learn that somewhere???? hahah Every morning she wakes up and asks me about her sissy she always says "I wanna see Wivvy, mom" "Where is Wivvy" "I love her, my sister" I hope she always feels that way about her little sis.

Although she's my BIG girl she is in fact very small she only weighs 24 lbs, but the Dr. is not concerned. I am always concerned; even though she is pretty dang smart and doing what she is supposed to be at her age.

I'm grateful for the opportunity I have to be her mother, I'm honored that Heavenly Father would share this little spirit with our family, that always (well almost always, except when she's pulling her drama queen attitude) brings joy to our lives.

After a long break Here are some new updates...

Baby "O" is almost 7 months she is very happy and loves to eat! She also loves her big sis and her eyes brighten when "G" walks in the room.
She is rolling and sitting without support!

Big Sister, is very funny, she says the funniest things. She loves her little sis, she hugs and kisses her all the time, it's sooo cute to see their interaction. G is potty trained which is a huge milestone we've completed, she's also obsessed with Cinderella and Princesses right now. She often tells me that I'm a princess and she's a princess and her sister is a princess but Daddy is a Prince. So I'm glad she somewhat understands the difference between boy/girl.

Daddy is waiting to hear back from different dental schools and enjoying his time off with from work/school to be with the family, since you'll never know when he'll have this much free time again! He loves his girls and they love him.

I've been learning a lot about myself, my strengths and weaknesses. I've also been working on trying to get back into my fitness, post baby "O". I've been working out at home with some workout videos and I'll tell you what they kick your butt. Have been enjoying the extra help with Daddy around and just adjusting to a new town. (Not so new almost 4 months). The pictures I posted are from a pumpkin patch that we went to with some friends, then from Halloween etc... I hope to be better at this blog thing, It's on my schedule to try to updated it on mondays!

This is what is happening with us in a nutshell.

HAPPY 4TH ANNIVERSARY !!!!

It has been 4 years since Hubby and I have said I do for eternity. We have come a long way in these 4 years, we have moved from UT to CA, to UT then to AZ we have lived in 5 different homes. We have one almost 2 kids. We were in school, then started a business, then sold the business and now in school again. It has been a fun journey together and I'm so excited for what the future holds, I'm sure there will be lots more moving etc... in the future but I wouldn't have it any other way.It seems like it was just yesterday when we met in freezing cold Logan, and now to be where we are today. I love you honey and am so grateful to have you for eternity!

Happy birthday my little princess!

Today is my little one's birthday she is turning two. I know I'm in trouble because she's already been going through her terrible twos, but I love this phase as well. She is so dang cute, She is so caring when she wants to be. her new thing is that she asks for hugs and kisses which I think is so cute and funny. She says; "mommy, I yant a hug"or "kisses mommy" and she is also going though this fake crying stage, well that's sorta my fault since when she would do something to hurt my feelings I would pretend I was crying and tell her that I was sad, now she mimmicks me and asks with a pouty face "Mommy sad?". I just love her to pieces and can't believe how fast time has gone be, it seems like it was just yesterday that I was in the hospital holding this little 5lb 6 oz full of hair baby girl and now she walks, talks, jokes around and fights back. Two precious years and all that she's learned wow! I'm so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who has "loaned" her to me and has trusted me to teach her correct principles etc... I love being a mom, I love spending time with her and I love to know that even when we have those hard days (terrible twos) it can all be erased with just a quick little silly grin or hugs and kisses. Happy birthday baby girl! I love you so much. (I'll have to add pictures a little later, this computer doesn't have any and I don't have my camera with me).
