Live Music At The Shell

Last weekend we jammed out to Jason Mraz and 311 at the Waikiki Shell. It was nothing less than AMAZING! The Shell is an outdoor venue so the atmosphere was really great. Both bands were just as good as their CDs and even a little better. Of course Jason Mraz sang "I'm yours" but he had Makana (local guy) join him and give the song a local style. 311 was absolutely crazy! Check out the short videos and pics we took.

Flowrider

For our Anniversary we went to Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park (the waterslide park) and Joel conquered the Flowrider. Its harder than it looks.

Some little Japanese kids tried riding with a body board and the waves would just throw them around. It was crazy!

Joels longest ride was longer than this video but I didn't catch it.

I know some of you have been waiting for this announcement for a long time, so here it is....We're pregnant!

I think the best reaction was the one I got from my mom. Here's how I told her:
(Over the phone)
Hi Mom.
Hey sweetie how are you?
I'm okay...(sounding sad).
Whats wrong?
Well, I've been feeling really sick recently and I finally gave in and went to the doctor today and they found something so I'm going to have to start doing all this stuff and seeing the doctor a lot more.
*Silence* *Worried Silence*
They found a baby!
*Screaming* Excited Screaming for over 5 minutes*

It was excellent. I couldn't tell her flat our cause thats just not fun. Pregnancy is nothing like on the movies! Morning sickness is not morning sickness. Its ALL DAY sickness! But hopefull that ends soon. Our due date...March 3, 2009.

Real Men of Genius

Here's to you Mr. Find-A-Coconut-On-The-Beach-And-Husk-It-All-By-Yourself-Man. Thats right...you deserve to be honored as a real man...a man who can feed his family by using his bare hands and masive muscles. (You can hear the Budweiser commercial tune in your head right?)

We went to Kawela Bay the other day and both guys husked coconuts to prove they were real men. They both accomplished!
