McCall Vacation

OK so once again it has been too long since I've updated the blog. My bad! We have been real busy this summer vacationing. We have had a few trips to the cabin at Bear Lake and some trips to Idaho. Well once again, Gammy knows how to party in McCall, Idaho. We just returned from our annual week of fun in McCall. The weather was great and the kids had a blast. We skied, hiked, picked berries, swam, visited the fish hatchery, played at the beach, and lots more. There were a bunch of new baby's this trip, so it was never too quiet. We had a real good time with everyone and want to thank Gammy for making it all possible.

Spring Break

For Hannah's spring break we decided to head south and get out of this cold weather we have been having in Utah. We loaded everything up and went to Phoenix to visit Aunt Carolee and Uncle Bill. We are doing our best to help them be prepared for when their grandchildren arrive. Judging how things went we think they are definitely ready!
We had a great time in Phoenix. The weather was excellent. We went from driving down in a snow storm to temps in the 70's to 90's. The kids had a lot of fun. We went to the Phoenix Zoo, McCormick Ranch Railroad (where the kids rode a train and carousel), several parks, The Phoenix Science Center, rode the new metro train, and visited with Aunt Judy and kids. Hannah and Will were the first ones in the swimming pool this year at Aunt Carolee and Uncle Bill's. Matthew decided that he would rather hang out on the lazy chairs. Michelle and I took in the good running weather and got some excellent runs in.
It is always so much fun in Phoenix. The Schlofmans are great hosts. Will couldn't get enough of Aunt Carolee's famous sourdough pancakes and all of Uncle Bill's toys. Carolee was super brave and rode home with us. She survived (barely) the trip. :)

Winter Fun!

Here are a few new pictures. We have been pretty busy. Uncle Scott back from Iraq and Will loved his "Costume" and wanted to be just like him. They had a good time. Then we went to Boise and took Hannah and Will skiing for their first times. Will wore himself out and only wanted to go straight down the hill, yelling, "Faster! Faster!" Hannah had a lot of fun and couldn't get enough of it. We all enjoyed a couple of hours on the slopes. As you can tell Matthew is doing great and growing up pretty fast. He is still surviving around Will. William has been a big help feeding and playing with Matthew. We are ready for spring to come and can't wait to get out and play.

Christmas Was Great

We had a great Christmas vacation. It was crazy before Christmas, but being with family and enjoying one another makes it all worth it. We had a great Christmas in Providence this year. Make that a very white Christmas. It snowed a foot plus the day after. We spent most of the day digging out and helping the neighbors with their driveways. We went over to Bear Lake for a couple of days and had fun there sledding and snowmobiling. We came home for a couple of days to do laundry and work and then we headed to Phoenix on New Year's day. We had a real good time there with Schlofman's. Gammy was there too which is always exciting. The kids had a blast riding their scooters and going to the park. Michelle was nice enough to let me go to my first NFL game. The Cardinals beat the Falcons. It was a great playoff game. We visited Aunt Judy and kids while we there too. We always have to much fun that it makes the 10 hour drive worth it.
We came home to a driveway with over a foot of snow on it and inversion. Welcome back to Utah!!
