London - Day 3

In the morning, dad, bro and i accompanied mum to this really really nice hotel called Landmark after breakfast!

The three of us sat at a separate table and ordered a pot of earl grey while mum was at another table with her customers.

Started camwhoring before i die of boredom waiting for them to finish their meeting. T_T

Then i decided to pay a visit to their toilet!

Saw those guards on their horses passing by as we were walking to the train station so me being my jakun self i quickly took my camera out to snap pictures!

Next stop was Buckingham Palace!

And we finally reached but it was so so packed with people!

Everyone crowding to watch the changing of guards.

But before it started the horse had business to do!

After that we went to visit the tower of london!

That's the brother being lame (as always) pointing in the opposite direction. -_-

There were so many towers inside the palace that i don't remember which is which already but i think this is the Lanthorn Tower!

These guards are supposed to stand still and not move but the brother caught him scratching his feet. -__-

This is the tower bridge which is like 654323456 times nicer than the london bridge!

I was sooo disappointed when i saw the london bridge seriously!

It looked just like any other bridge to me that i think i forgot to take a picture of it cause i couldn't be bothered to. T_T

Went back to the hotel after that to shower and clean up while kor went for dinner with his girlfriend's friend to pass her something (from his girlfriend of course).

Took more pictures of the park again!

Later on we went to watch the mamma mia musical at 7.30 p.m which was really good i wouldn't mind watching it again. :D

We weren't allowed to take pictures inside so this is the only picture i took before it started.

It lasted around 2 hours including the 10 minutes break in between but why i felt as if it ended so fast. T_T

Anyways after it ended we walked over to china town to buy supper and then back to the hotel again, end of day 3 in london. :(

London - Day 1 & 2

Okay so finally a post on london!

Our flight from malaysia was at 10.30 a.m on a sunday and it takes around 12 hours to get there so since they're 7 hours behind i think it was around 3.30 p.m (still sunday) when we arrived!

Jay (dad's indian friend) was nice enough to pick us up from the airport when we arrived and gave us a ride to our hotel.

This is the view outside our hotel!

We stayed in this hotel called Quality Crown Hotel and this is the hotel's rather small lobby. -_-

I kept complaining that we were more like living in an inn than a hotel because the rooms (and practically everywhere) were so so small there was hardly any space for our (mine and mum's) luggage to get through the door.

The brother and dad's room on the other hand was a wee bit spacious compared to ours.
Well at least they had enough space for 3 beds while ours was just nice for 2. -_-

But apart from that the place was considered quite decent!
Meaning it's clean and all and apparently london's standard of hotels are lower than here so ya what do you expect from their 4 star hotel!

At least they have such a pretty park outside for you to relax/take pictures of. :D

We had fish and chips at this restaurant nearby!

I actually expected more from them but sad to say malaysia serves just as nice fish and chips (especially the chips i didn't like it at all!).

Took a stroll around the place before heading back to the hotel and that was end of day 1 in london!

Next morning!

I reached out for my camera (which was still in my bag i forgot to charge it how could i forget T_T) and snapped a picture of the view outside from the window.

Went down for breakfast (at this point i still have not taken any pictures of my food yet cause i thought that since we were going to be there for so many more days i can do that another time!) and then walked to the train station to take the tube to Madame Tussaud's.

It's actually a museum where you'll find wax people everywhere!

Back to the hotel after that, took a shower then went out for dinner at this place called The Mughal's, indian cuisine!

Went to bed not long after dinner and so that sums up day 2 as well!

Will update the rest soon, hopefully. :D

Right now i'm still sick and today (thursday) will be the fourth day i'm not going to school.

Currently living on Fisherman's Friend, cold and sore throat pills which sucks (except for fisherman's friend it actually tastes not bad i wonder why some people don't like it!)

Well i'm supposed to be getting all the rest i can (though blogging is considered resting as well cause all i do is sit in front of the comp and type right!) so i guess i should be resting hence going to bed now.
