Chloe got her 1st real haircut today. Her hair has grown so much since we got her, and it needed evened out. Our friend, Kim, had trimmed her horrible bangs several months ago, but this was the first real hair cut. We think she looks awfully cute.

Playing with Rieley
Today we got to visit with our friends, Kathy and Rieley. Chloe and Rieley played well together even though it was more independent than actually together. After some warm up time the girls enjoyed riding on Rieley's cars and playing on the slide. They even enjoyed and almost fought over who could clean up the most blocks. The girls are about 2 months apart with Chloe being the youngest. Compared to Rieley Chloe looks like a moose. They are close to the same in motor and verbal skills and it was fun to watch them interact together. We look forward to many more playdates with Rieley.

Enjoying The Snow
Yesterday it snowed a very pretty snow. Marissa had off from school today and Bryce had a half day. Marissa took Chloe out for a little bit this morning but the snow was already melting. Chloe enjoyed a sled ride even though she looks quite worried. By the time Bryce came home at noon the snow had melted. No snowman (or "no-man" as Chloe says) this time, but it's only January. Chloe enjoys seeing the snow and playing in the snow. She doesn't like being bundled up so much. Cody however enjoys trying to steal her gloves. It's to snow again soon!
Chloe Home for 8 Months
It is hard to believe that it has only been 8 months that Chloe has been home with us. It feels like she has always been here. She is growing up so fast. When she came home 8 months ago she could not crawl, sit on her own, and only said "baba" which translates to daddy. She also could not wear her hair in piggies and drank mostly bottles. Now she is running and climbing every where. She tries to repeat everything we say and loves to draw. This week she has learned how to say "NO!" quite well. She usually says this to the puppy as she knows she is his boss! Chloe keeps us busy, but she remains a very good sleeper. She has developed quite a bond with her "JieJie" (big sister) and enjoys rough housing with her brother. Her "dad" cracks her up and she still likes to snuggle with "mum". She has also got 8 more teeth, but the drool continues to be constant. We look forward to seeing many more milestones as she continues to grow.

Getting Started
Well, I finally decided to take the plunge and start a blog. We started a babyjellybeans site over a year before we recieved Chloe. So at the end of the summer we ordered a cd of the site and closed our account. Hopefully I can keep up with this blog. I hope to at least post every Friday, but we will see.
This past week we enjoyed a few days of warmer weather. Chloe loved playing on her swing set and the kids and I enjoyed a warm walk with the dog to see the llamas. Chloe is probably one of the few 19 month olds that knows what a llama is and says llama quite excitedly. She waved to the llamas who wandered over to the fence in hopes of food.
Wednesday we visited another one of Chloe's favorites - cows!!! Chloe enjoyed her first visit to the 2008 Pennsylvania Farm Show. She loves animals, especially cows, and found out that maple cotton candy tastes really good! We found out that cotton candy makes Chloe CRAZY! The farm show has a lot of really good food, smelly animals, and interesting booths of information. We always enjoy seeing the butter sculpture each year. We will start our weekend off with watching Marissa play soccer with her indoor soccer team tonight. Half of her soccer team plays basketball so this winter they picked up a couple new players and enjoyed winning their first game. Marissa made their first goal. Dave is coaching again this winter and is glad to be back coaching. Bryce has basketball practice Saturday instead of a game. We have church Sunday and the rest of the weekend is opened. We are looking forward to relaxing and maybe catching up on some sleep!
