Megan's First Soccer Game

Running through the tunnel of arms after the game. The game was tied 4-4. She absolutely loved it. It was funny for me to see her completely red-faced from running all over the place. Reminded me of myself when my skin would stay bright red for an hour after BB games.

Winter Outings

Here are a few of the things that we have done in the last few months:

At the zoo with some of Megan's friends from school.

Addie cheering at the OU Basketball game for the Wayman Tisdale Tribute day. Toby Keith performed one of Wayman's songs at halftime. The girls love going to BB games.

Grammy took Megan and I to the Wizard of Oz musical. We even sat on the very front row for the 2nd half. It was fun to be able to see everyone up close.

Megan played in the snow while Addie watched happily from inside. She is still too fragile from surgery and casting to be in the middle of action, but she didn't seem to mind. She enjoys watching and laughing at Megan as much as doing it herself.

Addie and Megan enjoyed having some kids over to decorate cookies for Santa.

The girls - the day before Addie's cast was removed. (It has now been two weeks since it was taken off and she is finally not in constant pain. Hopefully she will start rolling and crawling around soon. She is still very needy.)

Sisterly Love

I walked in the room to find Megan snuggling with Addie on the floor while they watched another movie. They REALLY missed each other this week since Megan wasn't allowed in the hospital due to flu regulations.

Addie is doing really well at home. She is so resilient. She has not once complained about the cast or asked for me to take it off. She keeps us busy barking commands and orders, but we would be doing the same if we were completely immobile in a body cast. She has begun to eat fairly well. We thank everyone for the 1000s of prayers on our behalf. Please continue to pray for her healing and absence of any infections over the next six weeks.

Addie in the hospital bed with the goodies that people brought her. She has absolutely loved the little aquarium from the Children Ministers at church. We appreciate all of the prayers, cards, snacks, emails, and visits while we were in the hospital. It meant so much to us.

One of the best surprises and gifts ever - Josh and Jen (bro and SIL) sneaked into our house while we were away and cleaned the ENTIRE house: dusting, floors, mopping, bathrooms. It looked incredible! I was so thankful and embarressed at the same time. Let's just say that I have been focusing on playing with the girls, not cleaning, the last two weeks. They also had balloons, gifts, and posters for Addie.

Trick or Treat Night

Here are the girls on Halloween night. Their friends Vivian and Rhys came over to trick or treat. Addie really raked it in because the other three kids would ALL ask for an extra piece for Addie since I didn't usually try to get her stroller up on the doorstep.
