Snow Day

This has been the longest, quickest, busiest last month of school EVER! I remember wondering why my sister was always so busy and grouchy when she was in her last semester of nursing school, and now I know why. It is nuts! I was supposed to have the week off from clinicals, but of course, the schedules were rearranged at the last minute. Matt has taken the week off so we could go out of town, but that didn't happen. He did take the week off still though which helped so much with the kids and not having to find babysitting for the week. I feel like I never get to see any of them. It will be much better in about a month. One of the things he did do though was take the kids to see the snow. They didn't really like this big tractor that was moving snow around, so that kinda ruined the day. But here are a few pictures from the adventure.




As you can see in the pictures, I think Kyle cried the entire day. I could tell Matt had just had it when I got home from school. I really appreciate all of his help of these last few weeks. I am just hoping that he can survive a few more!

Meet Frank!

Yes, we have had several dogs since getting married in 2001. I think last we counted it was 9. Well, this is Frank. Yes his name is silly. The boys love him and they love carrying him around the house. I hope he gets completely potty trained soon!

Super Bowl Sunday!

We decided to spend the day at my mom and dad's house to watch the game. I pretty much slept through the whole first half but was wide awake for the second half. There was no way I could sleep anymore with all that yelling! It was a fun day with good food. Matt is definitely the cook in this family. He decided to try a new recipe for BBQ ribs & they turned out pretty good. We missed Kim and Nathan there. Here is Kyle with his gun...he love to go outside and "shoot the birds" Jordan loves to eat the tangelos right off of the tree! Watching the game

Ride Along...

I have been asking for the last three years to go on a ride along with Matt at work. He finally gave in last Friday night and set it up. Of course I had the ride along curse & it ended up being a pretty slow night. It was fun though getting to know the other people on his squad & to see him in action. Too bad the only action we got were some crazy drunks that should have been committed to a psych ward but its better than having a gun drawn at you. They asked me how I enjoyed it & I told them it was just like psych clinicals all over again. I asked Matt if he would like to come & spend a day at work with me...he laughed & said he would pass. Of course my camera battery was dead so these are just a couple pictures from the day he graduated from the academy.
