2015 update

I recently remembered that we had a blog. It is hard to remember where all of your information is in this day and age. I have pictures and posts all over the internet, so remembering that I also have a blog, well, that was kinda nice to remember. It was like opening an old photo album and reminicing about the fun days we had in 2011.

Much has happened since 2011. We have all aged a few years, bought a house, moved, had another child (a boy!). Hana has changed schools, 4th grade elementary now, and Morgan has changed jobs a few times as well, but is still a bankruptcy attorney.

Summer 2011

May and June were very busy. We have done many things together.

My mom's craft project

So while my mom was down here for the baby, she got restless and needed a project to do. We just happened to go to Goodwill and found this old beat up desk that was just plain white with a black top. It was the perfect size for Abby, and she needed a desk to do all her art and school work at. So we got it and a small red lawn chair. We immediately went to the hardware store and bought some pink, purple, and chalk board spray paint, stickers, and painters tape. We went home and took it apart. (no before pics, sorry, we forgot).

Finished version. We spraypainted the chair and desk. The black is the chalkboard paint.



We painted the desk purple, then put stickers on the desk, then painted over the stickers with the pink paint. It made for a cool looken desk.

We did the opposite on the legs, painting them pink, then stickers, then painting it purple. Take the stickers off, then you can see the pink.

This is the white part with no new paint. So some of the stickers are white as well.

NEW MCCAIN BABY!

We've increased our family to five! Here is Maddyson Rayann McCain. She was born April 3. She was 8lbs 3oz and was 21 1/2 in. long. She is my biggest baby yet, however she is still so tiny. Abby and Emma just adore her and love holding her, feeding her, and kissing her. Emma is still trying to figure out that Maddyson is not a doll and cannot be smothered or tossed around while she is holding her. We have to constantly remind her to be gentle with her. Abby is a terrific help with Maddyson. She can hold and feed her. She also protects her from Emma. Abby is even willing to change a diaper, as long as it is not poopy:). Maddyson is an excellent sleeper, eater, and overall good baby. I'm still nursing her but also giving her bottles to supplement her diet. She wasn't getting enough with nursing so she dropped down to 7.9 lbs for 2 weeks and the doctor was concerned that she wasn't getting enough food so she takes bottles now as well. I love being home with her, and am tempted not to return to work, but I've gotta do what I gotta do. Anyway, here are some pictures of her. Enjoy!

Summer fun 2010

Fun at the Fowler's house. We were invited to a small party at a ward members house. They had a couple of cute little dogs that Emma thought were pretty cool. Emma trying to get on their level.

Emma was so funny at the little party we went to. She tried to get into the hammock all by herself. This is quite a funny thing to see. Enjoy!

Abby has had fun pretending and one thing she loves to do is dance, so she put on a little inpromtu dance recitel for us, which we really enjoyed. This is just after the dance and Emma is getting in the middle of things.

Easter Weekend

We had so much fun Easter weekend. Conference, family dinner, and egg hunting. Made for a busy weekend. Here are some pictures of the fun activities.
