This is an average pose for Balsam, aka the perfect puppy. All she does is sleep and cuddle. Our first night home was an overwhelming success. THANK YOU Balsam, for going to bed at 11pm, and not making a peep until 9am!

Miss Photogenic

If you can't tell by the pictures...I picked up Miss Lime aka BALSAM today. She is utterly adorable and I am already in love. It is going to be hard letting her go to the puppy sitters because I don't want to miss seeing her grow up at all. I have been promised many pictures and plan on sharing them with everyone.

As sad as it was to see Beasley go, picking up Giddy made the transition a bit easier. So far Giddy has been wonderful and I haven't had any major problems with her. She has settled in at camp and fits in well. I am looking forward to having her until she goes in for training in the Fall.

Before Beasley left I managed to take a few more pictures of her up at camp. She was such a pleasure to have up there and she is missed by ALL of the staff and campers. Good luck Beaz! I can't wait to hear about your future!

As a joke some of the campers painted her nails for recall. We wanted her to look her best and hope that the kennel staff and trainers got a good laugh.

Recall 2009- Round Two

It seems like I was just doing this. Tomorrow I am making the trip up to the Breslau training facility to drop off Beasley. She will be joining Stanley (who has been gone 7 weeks now!) in advanced training.

She is slated for SSD/HED training right now, and will be assessed for breeding at the end of the month once she is settled into the kennels. She has matured a tremendous amount in the last month and I am sure she is ready for training. I am going to be proud of her whatever path she ends up on.

Stanley passed all of his health clearances and is trucking along in CVC. He is with an awesome trainer. The same guy who trained my first poodley doodley, Clifford. WHO JUST HAPPENED TO TURN THREE TODAY!!! If there is potential, he will see it.

Lastly, I pick up Giddy. She was spayed last week and is back in action now. I have my fingers and toes crossed that she does well up at camp.

Job = Love

I've just finished staff training and the first campers arrived yesterday. It is amazing to be back and I'm still sometimes shocked that this is my JOB! Beasley has settled in great and has been a champ this week. I couldn't have asked for a better behaved puppy up at camp. She has even been showing up the working dogs on staff. The weather hasn't been great, but things are looking up and hopefully the rain has decided to take a break for atleast a few weeks! Like the title suggests, I LOVE my job, I can't wait for the rest of the summer. It's going to be awesome.

Still no word on Beasley's recall. Until I get official word on what is happening, I will enjoy her and cross my fingers she will continue to do well at camp.
