Wouldn't it be cool if you could live your favorite musical for just a few minutes...?

Do YOU Know What Time It Is?
So last Monday when I woke up, I wasn’t feeling so great. I had a head ache, sinus pressure, runny nose, sore throat, the works. But I still went to work, and on my lunch break I went out and bought some cold medicine that I could take during the day while I was at work, and then some that I could take at night to help me sleep. As luck would have it, I forgot this cold medicine at work and didn’t even realize it until later that night when I was getting ready for bed. So my only other option was to take some Nyquil. Nyquil isn’t usually what I take when my sinuses are bothering me, but it would help most of the other symptoms I had. So I took some and then went to bed and fell asleep instantly, as I was completely exhausted.
The next morning when I woke up, it was one of those mornings where you look at the clock to see what time it is, but you have no idea what it says. Yeah, it was one of those mornings. I couldn’t comprehend what time it was, what day it was, or anything else. So after stalling long as I could, I got up, fed the dog, took a shower, dried my hair, and other things to get ready for work. And then…I looked at the clock again. Nothing could have prepared me. Guess what time it was, just guess! It was FOUR AM!!!!! That’s right four o’clock in the MORNING! Which means, it must have been around three o’clock when I got up, AND that my alarm never went off. I just randomly woke up at three in the morning, but I figured if ‘I’m awake it must be time to get up’.
So once I realized this, I laid back down and tried to sleep for the next three hours before I had to leave for work, but because my mind was so crazed and I was afraid to fall asleep and wake up confused again, I wasn’t able to get much sleep.
The other incredible part to this story is that I didn’t go to bed the night before until ONE o’clock in the morning, equaling a total of two (maybe two and a half) hours of sleep.
When I made it to work it had already felt like a really long day, and I told my story to one of my co-workers. After looking at me like I was crazy, she then told me of a relative that had a similar experience after taking cold medicine, except when she woke up in the middle of the night and got ready for work, she actually left her house and went to work at two o’clock in the morning.
Now, I am in no way discouraging anyone from taking Nyquil or any other cold medicine. I almost always use Nyquil when I am sick and the situation calls for it, and I have never had any problems. But after this experience I don’t think I’ll be able to take cold medicine at night without thinking twice. On the other hand, this whole thing could be completely unrelated to the cold medicine and happened simply because I’m weird.
