Maintaining Chakra

Sunday. Time for me to chase Jash across the quadrangle of STC. A time for me to bring him to SM and struggle our way to the computer game arcade. But at least, there was Yotchie and Jenel. Evrything are just in order.

Jash showed to us how he maintains his stamina by using just enough chakra!

How our day started:
I woke him up.
He yawned. Winked. Crawled out of the mosquito net and this marks the beginning of his another adventure!

Yes, he was looking forward for the SUNDAY event. It’s her mother’s Sports Fest! Jenel’s last for she would be graduating at the end of this semester.

And my father couldn’t say NO to his cheery grandson! He also went with us. We arrived at STC just in time for their parade to start. We saw Jenel dance and tried a few floor exhibitions. Papa laughed... and it made me recall of when was the last time papa saw us dance. Way back in elementary I guess. And I find it very memorable that on the last semester of my sister in school, at least, he had seen her dance.

Jash took the whole day just smiling and entertaining people. Clicks and flashes here and there. He slept for a few minutes over human bed.

My Sister's Musical Bent (her story)

Weary and fretful of the midday's sun, I straight-away waved my hand to the upcoming jeep (24-COnsolacion) on my way to school. I'm not in a plausible disposition and my mind in a nefarious condition. I stepped up in the jeepney recklessly and I'm aware that i look like a bunko-steere ready to batter down anyone who blocked my way. I sat down, trying to compose myself and brood over to the things I want to do when I reach school, I hurled my back in the seat between a bonny CDU Nursing student and a mushy office girl. Minutes later, as we speed up away from the busy Mandaue highway, I was agitated with the lament of the jeep’s speaker.

“Pastilan, dia na sad! Cge patukar anang samok ug langas nga sonata! Kapoi baya, samot lang na sa labad ning akong ulo!” a passenger in a loud voice.

I glanced at the konduktor and paid him a smirk and a repellent look. As the sound echoed all throughout the jeepney, a familiar tune enliven my dampened spirit.

“Oist, Senior Citizen man lagi ron!”

A once flustered face was now changed into a buoyant visage.

“La la la la Lo la la la ……”

A once distempered sentiment altered into a serene temperament.

“Ang akong lolo magsige lang paGwapo bisan bisan wala na siya’y buhok sa iyang ulo…”

A once frenzied mode pivoted 360º and my sporadic mental image that was colored gray was now flickering gold. The tune compounds my entire being as I babbled some of the line.

“Ang tigulang bisag bako. Maningkamot mubarog, motindog aron mulabyog..”

Aggressive Audio indeed formulated a rhythm that made my fellow passengers warbled with all their hearts content as we sank in our chest exhausted by the traffic jam along Tipolo, Mandaue. The next song was introduced with a tame rhythm. Whew!

“Gigutom si dodong John-john, angita og kan-anan
aron mahuwasan ang nag-hilab niyang tiyan.

I closed my eyes for awhile and intensely harboring the song.

“Bakakon ka! Liar, Evil ka!

The beat seemed like a lullaby to my ear that I immediately put myself in deep slumber.

“Unya mihabol ang kangitngit nga giduyugan sa ulan. Ug sa kalit lang nahanwa ang bidlisiw sa adlaw.”

I felt my body was swinging back and forth but … Pastilan! Unsaon!! Niliko na nag jeep padulong sa SM! Nalapas ko!

Para ‘Nong! Para!

The End.
(NOTE: My sister is really going crazy over BISROCK)

GUidELinEs for A better Relationship

Recieved an email yesterday from Yotchie... he told me it's a guideline for the two of us!

ANNIVERSARIES
Always celebrate! Whether it's the 1st or the 50th, each year together isa triumph.

APPRECIATION
Let each other know how much you appreciate each other. You may already know but hearing it from each other is always better.

BEST FRIENDS
Be best friends preferably before being boyfriend-girlfriend. Take time to know each other so the relationship will be a deep one.Tell each other about your crushes, dreams and problems.Make sure he/she is your best friend before getting engaged. The strong bond of friendship will help you both survive tough times.

BOND
Make it a point to spend time together often but leave room for each other. Also spend time alone w/ each other, so that at the end of the day you could both share your experiences. This way, you stay interesting with your partner.

CHANGING EACH OTHER
Don't marry an as...le, j.... or a bi.... (an unsuitable person) You'll never change each other.

COMPLIMENTS
Always compliment each other. This will prevent feelings of resentment & thinking that one is being taken for granted.

DATE
Keep doings things that you both enjoy, do them together. Make time & continue to date to keep the romance - look good, smell good to maintain physical attraction

DIFFERENCES
Celebrate differences. Never force your ideologies down each other's throat. Give up trying to turn your partner into you. Accept differences, appreciate them.

FIGHTS
Fight w/the aim to resolve the issue. Don't outdo each other. The longer you extend the fight. The more chances that you'll say something hurtful that you don't really mean. As mad as you were w/ your partner, he/she is still the person who laughs at your jokes & thinks you're hot. Hear each other out, don't dig up old issues. Choose your battles.Make sure the fight will be worth it & that something will change in the relationship as a result of the fight.

FLAWS
Know that the perfect person does not exist.Know that just as there are things that you love about him/her, there will be things that will make you go crazy. We are only human with our own flaws.

FUN
Have fun together! This means keeping the fun & spontaneity that was there in the early days. Allow yourselves to get silly - shower together, pee w/the door open etc. Being able to make each other laugh & see the lighter, crazier, absurd side is the best way to get through all the differences in personalities, adjustments in lifestyle & opposing viewpoints.

GOALS
Make sure you have similar goals. It would be difficult to keep your bond intact if your views are complete opposite.

GRUDGES
Quit tabulating grudges. Let it off. Discuss it, then trash it, don't recycle it.

KEEPING IT HOT
Keep it hot by traveling to diff. places together. A new setting will do wonders. Always have skin contact - be it holding hands, a massage or just plain leg rubbing.

HONESTY
Don't lie or hide things. The problem will only get bigger.

KNOW EACH OTHER
Learn each other's interest. It really keeps the conversation flowing!

HUG
A hug can be far better more intimate than a kiss.I

IDENTITY
Don't lose your personality - that's why he/she fell in love w/you. Have separate interest & activities to keep your individual, & to be able to contribute more to the relationship.

INDEPENDENCE
Having your own income means you're the boss in your life. IN-LAWSMake rooms for the in-laws.

INTENTIONS
Wish each other well. Don't wish each other worst

ISSUES
Speak up about the awkward stuff now, like money & sex. The earlier, the better.

LISTEN
Listen, listen, listen. Hear each other out especially during arguments.

LOOK GOOD
Mind your appearance! Stay fit & healthy for each other.

LOVE
It all boils down to your love, chemistry & respect for each other.

MEMORIES
Remind each other of the old days. Do something that you used to do for each other before. It may even be corny but it made you two together. Experience new things together- from dining into a new restaurant to experiencing street food together to exploring to new places. It's the little surprises that make great memories.

MIND READING
No matter how long you've been together, do not think that you can read each other's mind.

NEEDS
Be good to yourself, then be good to your partner. That's what love is all about. Think about your partner. Will it make him/her happy? Will she/he enjoy it? Consider each other's feelings.Be very attentive & sensitive to each other's needs, physically & emotionally, that way your partner learns to do the same for you. Never take your partner for granted.

PRIORITIES
If one says it's important, then it is! Prioritize each other among other things!

SPACE
Give each other space. Have dates with your girlfriends, have your boy's night out.If you can't trust each other with this, then don't get married.

SORRY
Say sorry when you're wrong.

SURPRISES
No matter how long you've known each other, be open to surprises, both good or bad.

TEAMWORK
Think for two & always work as a team. Consult each other before making a decision because everything will always affect both of you. Strengthen couple power. In many ways, we have to decide based on what is best for the relationship in favor of our individual selves.

SUPPORT
Support each other's dream. Be willing to follow your passions, support your partner in his/her decisions & create new ones together. Two heads are better than one.

TALK
Tell each other's stories. Life goes by so fast & its easy to see how easily couple can grow apart. Whenever something funny, scary, exciting or juicy happened to you or to someone you know, tell each other about it & have your partner do the same. Keep each other in the loop of life, even by email if you have to.

UPDATES from SuGarFree

Mitch is going bye-bye na from the band but I’m sure nothing would ever change! So here’s an email from Ebe I received over the yahoogroup:

Hey guys. I am glad you heard it from mitch first. i know some of you arent taking it well, but sana be happy na lang na we are parting as good friends. And sabi nga, "This isn't goodbye, just goodnight." he's always gonna be around.

Sana kung ano mang suporta ang pinakita nyo kay Mitch, ipakita nyo rin kay kaka. He's a nice kid and he's working double time to learn new AND old songs.

Our friends are sad, but excited din kasi we're working on new songs for the October release of our 3rd studio album (grabe, it's been two years na pala since we released an album). jal and i are very happy because one, Mitch is always gonna be here for all of us, and two, Kaka's passion is rubbing off kaya masipag kami ni Jal.

I can not promise you anything but this. kahit anong mangyari, i will not let you down.
Mitch's last manila gig happens on friday at the hard rock cafe. we'll be playing at 10 pa but if im right, I dont think they charge entrance until 8pm. im sure he'll appreciate it if you guys go see him one last time. Mahal na mahal nya kayong lahat.

Let us grieve, pero gaya nga ng sabi sa dramachine, wag po tayo mabuhay sa kahapon.

Saka mas bagay sa ating lahat ang nakangiti.

ebe

Oh, well.. this is life after all! We can't beg for someone to stay...

Mitch! Good luck sa next career!

SONA and Last Nights Tears

Almira's (A fellow UPian who happens to be one of the Marketing Assitants) first words to me this morning while clutching the PDI.. "Nice kaayo ang SONA noh?"
Indeed, without even reading the texts .. just seeing GMA's face in the headline makes me conclude that her sixth SONA is the best that she had. There were more humors on it... light and bubbly! NO heavy words, no heavy promises. Here's the line i liked:
"For those who want to pick up old fightd, we're game... but what a waste of time. Why not join hands instead?"
Let's all pray for our the healing of our nation. Dili na ta mag-away ninyo oi!
****
There were tears last night. Him and Me. And I'm glad we did it after a year and seven months. I am glad that he opened up to me. At least now I know he is normal. Nobody can hold back someone's feelings.
I don't have any rights to demand his passwords, to see to it that he's only seeing me, to ask for his detailed itinerary. He has his own private life and I don't want to intrude.
But i know where I am in his private world.
And knowing where I stand in his life enough for me.
****
I hate hospitals. But i need to be there to report to my boss. Hope he doesn't demand a lot!
I wish him to recover fast.

Five Thoughts for A Monday Morning

1.Finally, I’ve tuned back to NU107 and had expected to catch up from what I had left a couple of months ago. Of course, there are new songs on their play list, new featured artists. Oh how I miss Dylan’s voice and Trish’s noisy morning whispers. Congratulations to Up Dhurma Down for catching “The Rising Star Award” for the month of July. The first time I heard them (last year) I know the band really has a great potential. They have a different sound, very different from the other female-vocal bands (except for IMAGO of course which is on top of my list). And yes, speaking of IMAGO, haven’t heard any new song from them or its just that I’m no longer updated! Hahahahaha if there’s anyone who knows the latest of IMAGO..kindly please stop by. Super thanks!

2. My sister is going crazy over BisRock! Everytime she opens up a conversation naa jud nah ang Agressive Audio, Missing Filemon, Enchi and unsa pa nay lain dha! I do like their songs man sad. Well, cguro nabaghu-an lang cya! Ahehehehe I admit i was the one to introduce her to the thiese songs and I wasn't really thinking that she'd embrace it wholeheartedly!

2.1 My sister relates to me this dokyu "Alingawngaw ng mga Punglo" from Mindoro and expressed her angst of the current crisis we are facing right now. I appreciate her concern! Really! itz not every day that we get to talk about things that are related to our country.

3. Its GMA’s sixth SONA and I’m so keyed up to listen (which is not really sure) coz I’m here in the office but I’d make sure to update myself through the internet in case there’s highlights. Of course there would be a lot of sweat shed and hopefully no platelets of any color to flow. Please let’s put an end to this never-ending drama of greed and power.

4. I’m whole heartedly supporting the President.

5. My boss has dengue.

Another Colorful Day

I only read half of the book "Tuesdays With Morrie" and I made a short lecture (as if Im Morrie) to my Yotchie last nigh about life, death and regret and he eyed me suspiciously as if im plotting to commit the perfect suicide.

I love my life. I love the people around me. I love those who hated me even if there are times that I silently cursed them. Oh well... yes I wanna live my life like I am really living.

Another colorful day. This is what I pray.

Im doing my MINUTES again -- a very dull thing to do on an early morning. But today i will add color to it.

I'm planning to have some ngohiong for lunch.

I want to go to SM and check if the bag I am eyeing is till there.

I want to see Jash on his nightly tantrums in our battle over diapers and milk.

I want to have dinner of colorful beans and pastel rice.

My Colors

I really wanted to have my BLOG be as attractive as i wanted it to be...

So i searched through every engine there is too guide me in my search for the Nicest Skin and the Prettiest design but I wasn't able to decide which of them I would use. And i ended up with this grayish and green page that i have been using for a few months now.

This made me realize that I should not be looking at what other people might find attractive but rather with what i believe is attractive.

Gray but Green.

Jasmine and my new blouse for a Wednesday

Ahemmnnnn Went to Jonie's SM ganiha for lunch coz naa unannounced PressCon si Jasmine Trias (which was prepared by Maui just this morning-- an hour of going through the ballons, flowers, streamers, smiling people and etc)! And yes... just in time for the Manager's Meeting!

1.) The meeting started at 930am, with M'An Pil, M'Amalyn, S'Aug (in behalf of S'Milton), S'Nathan, Almira and Kathrina (the Marketing Gurls), Me (of course) and S'Edwin. There was really nothing of importance as what i understand.... only the EVAS was highlighted., the computations, the marketing flaws again and again... and some other talks both personal and buisness, related and non-related.

2.) My boss wasn't able to come, he phoned-in that his sick. (should i be thankful?) but prior to that i made a marathon of rebooking at the ever super busy Cebu Pacific! Wow! Love it! Sigh!

3.) Out of excitement and hunger (perhaps), they left me at the office...too late for me... the office was already deserted when i went calling for a TAXi (bisan sakit) to hurriedly drive me to SM.

4.) I ate a hearty lunch! No rice! Just spaghetti and chicken. A mouthful of Buko Pandan and Mango-Cucumber Salad.

5.) A picture taking with Jasmine Trias with the rest of my officemates.

6.) I learned that my boss is confined in the hospital. I thought it was a joke. But no! True jud cya. I feel bad. Coz in one way or another he is still my boss.

7.) Im wearing my new blouse (the first blouse i had over the years which i really feel sexy). Ahahaha too bad my boss is in the hospital and wasn't able to see me... ahahahahaha

naka-hirit pajud noh...? ahahahah thanks to M'Amalyn's courageous words! Ahahaha but im not really Starstruck with Jasmine... She's petite man very opposite sa TV! and theres nothing so interesting about her! The large Chicken Background looks good right?

Enjoy the photos! 'Twaz really fun... Full force beauty! Ahahahha Hope to have another PressCOn with another artist!

Friendship and Smiles

This photo is blurred and could no longer be magnified... but my memories of what we did on that resthouse behind our backs a few months ago (late Feruary i guess) ,when we went to Boljoon for our STS class, would always be clear and vivid. Its nice to be back with that group of happy faces and that resthouse in their backs again.

The 5th of July

Its already July and im kinda' sad coz i wasn't able to write something for my birthday. Anyways, i had a great "5th of July"! It was the same day with the MANAGER'S MEETING.. so we went out for LUNCh there at NEoneo Grill... they even brought Bueberry Crumble for me with the persistence of MAui.

Hmmmm... with the family... Mama was so thoughtful of cooking deleciously prepared beef steaks for us and Yotchie really made an effort to force me to accept the JCA Monster Pizza he really wanted to buy for me! After a few debate... he won.. and we even rode a taxi from Ayala to Mandaue! In as much as I really wanted to emphasize the importance of SAVINGS, still, he was so 'KULIT'...

Jash kept on singing "Happy Birthday" too us and i find it so sweet of him... even if he is so pabadlong and super sungogan kay forever lovable gihapon kaayo!

Today is a Monday (July 10, exactly 5 days after my birthday) and im glad i wasn't late for work... Monday is really very traffic! I arrived around 7:53am... a good start for the week.. would you agree?

Today, Me and Yotchie are going to meet for dinner sa balay... and i just hope that before 7pm I could leave this dreadful place I call "office".
