Kaden turns 1-year-old

Happy Birthday to our Little Man!

Kaden is 1-year-old!  We had a little party for the birthday boy and he was lovin' the attention!  My sister in law, Amber took some great pictures of Kaden for us!  The faces of our little boy...

 Some fun facts about our one-year-old:

*  He's walking everywhere and starting to climb.  One of his favorite games is to climb up onto the fireplace and then whine and point at us until we get him down.  Then immediately repeat.
*  When he wants you to do something for him he'll point at you with his little pointer finger.
*  Kaden loves to tackle and wrestle his sisters (and cousins and parents....) He knocks them over and then smothers them with slobbery open mouth baby kisses!
*  This guy is on the move constantly.  But when it's bedtime he turns into a cuddly little cuddle bug!  I love to sing to him at night while he's all curled up on my shoulder.  And then when you lay him down in bed he fingers the edge of his green blanket until he finds the tassles and holds on for dear life.

Camping at Tony Grove Lake

This is one of my favorite spots in Logan Canyon!  I love the small quiet lake, the walking trail around it, the BEAUTIFUL wild flowers in early summer.... I could go on and on.  The kids always have a blast camping and get so dirty that you'd think the atomic bomb went off in our campsite!  That's what it's all about, right?

 Devin and Darla and Dalynn drove up for the evening to have dinner and a walk around the lake.

LDSMMS Hershey Reunion

It was a perfect summer day and we had a fun  Class of 2008 get together in Layton.  Affectionately called LDS Married Medical Student (LDSMMS).  So so so fun to see everyone and their kids and chat a bit!  We missed those who weren't around!  Hershey PA was one of our favorite places to live and these great people made it so much fun!  

 These boys have been through a lot together!  Played basketball almost every Saturday morning for four years of Med School.

And of course, the life of the every party and the cutest things on campus!  What great memories of our years in Pennsylvania!

Cabin Trip with Cousins

So fun to go to Grandma and Grandpa Price's Cabin!  Especially when we get to play with all of our cousins!  Bear Lake is the best!

We love to visit Dallon's old haunts around Young Ward!  Today we went fishing on Pelican Pond, just down the road from Grandma Jones house.  Dallon let the girls take turns helping row us in Devin's rowboat.

 Maddie's prize!  These little fish were crazy!  We couldn't keep them off the hooks.  It was a perfect fishing trip for the girls...

When we caught as many as we could, we drove back home to say hi to Devarie and Dalynn.  They watched Kaden for us while we were gone!

Island Park, Idaho

 We rented this little cabin for a couple of days in Island Park.  Rained almost the whole time, but still had a blast!

Grandma Price came with us on the trip.  On our last day we left Island Park and drove through Yellowstone on our way home.  Stopped in West Yellowstone at Bear World to see some bears and wolves...just in case we didn't see any in the park!

 One of the many hot pots we stopped to see (and smell...yuck!) on our way through the park.  Since we've been home the girls affectionately tell each other that they smell like the hot pots when they're trying to insult one another!

 This little girl is loyal to her daddy through and through no matter what.  There's no way to convince her that he is anything but perfect and super strong and her best friend.  And of course Dad's always on Kallie's team.

 We stopped to hike around Jenny Lake just outside of Jackson to stretch our legs.  Such a pretty place!  I want to go back there to camp sometime!
