Birthday trip to Disneyland with the fam

We flew in Sat night and stayed at Auntie Susan's house. We loved everyminute. Thank you Susan.

Marissa just could not get enouph of penny Susan's dog. She rode him around like a horse. Penny was very sweet with her.

Marissa and I came down to my parents in California for a week. We came to suprise my dad for his birthday. The weather has not been great but we are having alot of fun. Here is grandma and marissa.

She was very busy with all of her shopping for the new kitchen.

Corinna and Jesse came for a few days. It was alot of fun and Marissa loved seeing her sister. Amber was in Texas for Christmas so we did not get to see her.

She also loved Chico the horse. It looks just like her grandpa's real one.

Our Christmas tradition is to make tamale's. We had our friends over and we were able to make them super fast. They were soooooooo good.

As soon as we got back from Mexico we got this. A ton of snow. Here is Mike and Marissa in the front yard.

Where is the street? We were stuck in our house for a week. When Mike would get home from work he would take us out in the truck but that was the only way to do anything.

Mike and I were lucky enough to go to Mexico for 5 nights. My parents came up from CA and watched Marissa. We did not know how we could survive without her with us. After about the 2nd day we were loving all the freedom! Here is our hotel the RIU in Playa Del Carmen.

Mike and I went diving in a cenote which is a huge freshwater cave. There were some blind fish but the stalagmite's were amazing.

Here is Tulum. It is the mayan ruins. They were amazing. Our guide through the sites name was Moroni.

The beach at Tulum was one of the best we have ever swam in.

Here is another cenote. This one had water but this is the dry area. We rode ATV's to get there. When we booked the tour we were told we would be riding through the jungle. When we got there we found out we would be riding about 10 miles through the city to get to the jungle. I about had a heart attack. You should see how these people drive. It was scary but really fun. It really helped that the guide thought I was one of the best drivers he had ever seen. He probably says that to everyone.
