shopped, shopped, shopped with liz ytd! quite a satisfactory day except that we sorta got cheated by this vendor at bugis street. bt oh well.. was supposed to meet ahgui and eunice at greapevine after but eunice couldnt make it and things could not be arranged so liz and i had nice jap food (i had salmon cream pasta with salmon roes yummyyyyyyy!), yummylicious dessert from her workplace and a nice drink at srarbucks where we chilled and talked and all.
hahaha liz fell in love with moon sparkle! and walkng pears and apples on sticks totally cracked us up.
a really nice day with great company =D

NUS ACCEPTED MY APPEAL!!
i checked the online status at 2plus earlier this afternoon and the current status still read "APPEAL RECEIVED" and i dont knw why and what made me check again.. well i had this very strong feeling that told me to go check again. so i did and.. heh. im so glad and relieved! and i knw i ought to be content since ntu also accepted me, and first, but in my heart i knw i wanted to get nus. and so.. :) :) :) :)
to think the night before i received my acceptance from ntu i had a dream that both ntu and nus accepted me and that i was struggling to decide between the 2. and i knw people going to nus too so i dont have to worry too much (ok childish) about making new friends and meeting new people which i have always been afraid of!
thank God. really.

so the sunny sky was gradually obscured by heavy clouds of a threatening grey.
so i was bored and started to look through old pictures taken back in my jc days (boy do i sound old), a distant memory that has collected dust in the reccesses of my brain.
i miss jc life, and the times we used to have. the 2 yrs passed at the speed of light, the billion years (or so it feels that way) a representative of that that separate us.
there's still something unsettling that irks me.

comp's back and running again.
ntu accepted my appeal! and for now im just glad and grateful that i have a place in one of the local unis.
went to sentosa ytd with ahqin, ahgui, eunice and sharon. i miss the sun! and the sand, and the sea! my phone died so i sent it to samsung at ps where we had swensens for dinner. left early and headed to the hosp to see my dad.
he got discharged today so things are back to normal. haha and my mum was saying that "he's the king now". hahaha funny but oh well ;)
dont know why but i still feel so uneasy.

so ahqin, eunice, janetta and i caught The Happening at tamp mall on sunday night. quite disappointing. the show reaches its climax then suddenly- it ends on this non-conclusive note.
so lame. but at least i caught it with great people. that salvaged something.
balled ytd night and i got my feel back! ok felt that way since sat night but thought that i shldnt say anything in case it goes away again. hahaha. almost every ball i attempted to shoot went in. some shots even i was thinking "oh shit miss!" and it goes in. yay heh. then we headed to macs for dinner before heading home.

bbq at susan's place on friday night was great!
finally we had almost everyone together. the food weas yummy, the company was great.. too bad we didnt take a picture together. stayed over at her house and it was fun! mahjonged, bridged.. and then we went out for macs breakfast on saturday morning. slept for the day and then headed out again in the evening to play ball with them.
hahaha was feeling pretty tired but it felt good to play and now im aching all over!
ahh.. we wanted to head down to shower at the pool toilets on friday night but the toilet was already locked. and on the way back.. ahqin and eunice stepped on a frog and the frog jumped over my toes =s
wonder if the frog survived after that.
anyway-
so glad we're still close that we meet up and have fun together. i really appreciate and love their company!

NTU was and still is confusing. i got there at 1030 but waited at the wrong place and only started my test at 1140. hahaha. the test was pretty tough. the kind of passage that you had to read a couple of times before you got the jargon and all the crap.
i think i blew it.

ahgui and i passed FTT! hahaha. a step closer to getting a licence! to think we studied last minute and barely read through the book.
and i got a call from ntu asking to go for an english test tmr morning. i sure hope this is a good sign!
