3 days

It's three days into the last summer break I have before my life changes forever and I'm bored....


Like almost out of my mind bored.

There's so much I have to do, but I have no desire to do it. So much crap to go through, and I don't want to make decisions about what to keep and what to dispose of.



Hopefully I'll get something done!

Last day

Today is my last day working with second graders!! 

Do I feel sad? 

A little. It's been my life for three years, plus my college years preparing. 

Am I going to cry? 

Not so far. Unless my crazy pregnancy hormones start acting up. 

I'll miss working with other such wonderful teachers! It's been a great three years, and I've learned a lot! But I'm ready now for the next great adventure!! 

Being a mom! 

3.5 weeks

That is all I have left until summer!! Then I can focus on Baby Lee! 

I am so excited to do baby things, although a little timid as I'm afraid to plan things in case lives get kind of hectic. (Which is a big possibility at the moment.) 

So, here's to 3.5 more weeks of helping the kiddos cram info into their brains and then the glorious summer will be here!! (After I work my butt off to empty out my classroom of stuff.)

Art, Musings and a new blog

I took a break from art because I just wasn't feeling it. Well, during conference weekend last week, I got out the old pencil, pens, and paper and got to doodling. If you follow my art Instagram, you've seen my Mandala zentangle creations. It is VERY stress relieving, and fun to try out different things, although I'm not very confident with it yet. I'm thinking I'm going to do some names next. 

For musings, I am super far behind! Thank you school. (Only 6 1/2 weeks left!!! Ish.) We had testing this week. I survived, even being 19 weeks pregnant! It was all good! And what feels even better is that I won't be going back in the fall! Thank you baby and a crazy summer that has nothing set in stone! 

A couple weekends ago, I had the chance to attend the AZ Blogger meetup event, and I had a blast! I'm shy, so it's hard for me to go to new things, but it was great! Sorry, no pics! :( 

We've also found out that we are having a little girl! I am so excited, and as much as J says "It's a boy," I know he's really happy. (She will have the poor guy wrapped around her finger from the start!) and little girl is like CRAZY ACTIVE!! If I sit down after work or before I get up in the morning, I can feel her kicking away. She has too much energy already!! Haha and it's only going to get "worse". 

Now, because I'm going to be keeping track of baby and our possibly soon future adventures, I'm starting a new blog as a journal/diary. It will probably be set to private when I start posting. (Again, thank you school! 😑) But I hope to get it up soon. I'll post the link when it's up and running!! 

With a new blog, I'm hoping to not completely neglect this one, but we'll see. This blog will be for all of my random musings, which I occasionally have. Not very often, but sometimes. Haha with the Blogger app, it's easy enough to toggle between bogs. :)

Sorry for the novel! If you made it this far, you deserve a sticker! (Of which there are plenty in my desk at work. So, I seriously could give you one.)

Hiatus

Sorry for the major hiatus!

Between work being super crazy stressful, and crazy things happening, I haven't been blogging!



Work will hopefully get better as the school year winds down! (Only 9 weeks left!!!)

Also, we found out that we are expecting Baby Lee at the end of August!! :D So I am super excited about that!! We find out the gender in just under 3 weeks, and I can't wait to start preparing!! :D


Hopefully I'll work on staying caught up with things now that people know we're expecting. I'm hoping to do post updates about how the pregnancy is going.


I'm debating about starting a new blog for our family. I'm feeling like this blog is less and less important to me. Mostly my url is bugging me. But we'll see. I just need to come up with an awesome url that I won't hate 5 years down the road! ;)

A good week

This past week has actually been pretty good! I got a positive for the lesson plans I wrote and the kids were actually pretty good. 

I feel so bad for my students lately, though. I've been super grumpy with them. They're pretty resilient kids, though! 

So overall, it's been good!
